The Fog Of The Morning: Wednesday Walk

Well Hello There Fellow Hivers!

It's Wednesday Mah Dudes!

Okay, so firstly I have to say that yeah the pictures in this post aren't the best I've ever shared.

I tried my best getting nice pictures of the mist but how the hell does one do that other than taking a picture? What I'm glad for is that you can actually see that it is misty!

This was the very first thing I saw when exiting the house this morning!

I have to add that I am a big fan of bad weather! A VERY BIG FAN! Come the thunder storms I'll be there gazing and jumping from joy when the thunder claps! Now misty weather has some sort of eerie twist to it and I frikkin love it!

One thing that I've noticed over the years is that when this weather comes it's always on a work day, why can't it ever be over a weekend where I can grab a chair and actually have a nice sit down with a strong cup of coffee and indulge in what's around me?

I suppose that's why we enjoy it a lot more when we experience it because we experience so little of it.

The mist around the house wasn't that thick but as I went down the old beaten path it got real thick real fast!

It really felt like I was walking into a dream world! I even sent a message to the Betty telling her how excited I was for the misty weather! I don't know what exactly but I must have had some experience with foggy weather as a child or "bad weather" in general because for as long as I can remember I've truely enjoyed it!

I remember being a little lad, waking up at night with the sound of thunder, it never really bothered me at all. But that doesn't matter now.

If we didn't have roads on the farm I swear I'd have gotten lost on the stretch to my Old Pops.

It might sound like I'm over reacting but this might have been the thickest fog I've ever experienced in my life.

Truely.

One can faintly see the silhouette trees on the other side of it, if you look closely enough on the right hand side, but barely!

After travelling quite some distance they became very clear, this really made me see things clearly. No pun intended.

Walking in the mist is one thing but driving in it and especially when it's this thick! I have only once driven through some thick mist but it wasn't quite as thick as this though and it was very recent, last year December when I went down to the seaside for the festive seasons.

Vacation, yeah something I would literally kill for now! But it's still half a year away right!

The bees nests on the neighboring plot, I wonder if they were as confused as I was when they went out for the day? What madness is this!

By the way, I've still not went over to ask the people if I may buy some of their honey. I really need to devise some sort of plan, I do seem them working outside almost everyday after work. 🤣

What I found really enjoyable for some weird reason is how everything gradually gets revealed through the mist, at this point I was almost at Old Pops.

It had a strange feeling to it, laughs. Almost as if I went on a long sea voyage not seeing any land and then bam! Land Ho! Or in this case Tree's Ho!

Laughs.

Well, with that I hope everyone has a wonderfull week ahead of them. At-least for what is left of it! Friday is a national holiday for me so I'll be able to stay nice and lazy!

Have a great one!

The next four images only depicts how everything is revealed through the fog as one walks through it.

You captured some amazing photographs during your Wednesday walk brother.

My favorite capture is the second photo. The way the foggy scene unfolds, gives a naturally drawing effect to the trees on the right. A perfect law of thirds photographic effect in action, breathtaking!

I'm glad somebody noticed that! Really I am 😂

Damn broh, weather like this ahhhh makes me want to pull out a bong and just find a spot to chill for the day!!

Well I got a new phone today, not the best but atleast it's got a better camera in than what I'm using now so hopefully I can take even more breathtaking photos! Thanks a lot brother!!

Oh and sorry for the poor replying the last few days!

I think you did a great job capturing both the view and the feel of the fog so moody

I to love watching thunderstorms, all be it from indoors I would happily find a covered spot by the beach and watch the storm roll in seeing the thunder and lightning, but my wife would freak if I did LOL

Oh, a thunderstorm rolling in from the sea..... There is very little that compares to that in terms of beauty!

I do support your choice with that one! Don't worry, the Betty is also somewhat afraid of the thunder 😂 but atleast they come cuddling up in our arms when it's there!!
