Never Just Buy A Car Without Knowing The History!

IMG-20220820-WA0073.jpg

Well Hello There Horsepower Lovers!!

A Nice Little T-Cross!

Yeah that's what I thought until I started tearing this thing down!

The client drove from another town and got left beside the road with a broken vehicle! The problem here is that he just bought this car! Second hand though but it has been in one HEAVY hard hitter accident! There is a lot wrong with this car! A lot!

But okay I am going to write this as if I didn't know about the damage, because I didn't at first! But it's real bad!

This Was The Disappointment!

Not the battery no, but it is part of it all!

Is this what the automotive industry has turned to? To crap like this? I mean check that out! A nice little small battery for your three cylinder ride!

Heck I am not lying they are really feeding us spoons full of shit! But what can we do!

I mean check this out! I legitly removed three bolts and the entire transmission was almost exposed!

It feels like I am working on a damned Renault Kwid!
Get this crap away from me! Ah well bossman wont like that! So I have to get this out now!

I can't say that it's going to take me a while because at best I have like ten bolts to remove!

This Was When I Knew!

I actually had a feeling when I removed the battery box that something was up! As I removed the battery box the fuse box shifted out of place and I felt underneath that it was broken, when I felt that the suspicion of a accident car arrose!

Although it was not until I unbolted the starter's one bolt where I felt that it was loose where it was suppose to have another bolt still in place!

That's when I knew!

The Damage! Immense!

The CV boot is torn, throwing grease everywhere!

20250210_101931.jpg

The CAT system is not bolted down in place, so the vibrations of the motor will make it tear of eventually!

20250210_102757.jpg

The transmission mounting is not even bolted in place and has some whack stuff that they tried there!

20250210_101857.jpg

Whack!

20250210_101902.jpg

A whole lot more of broken and torn CV boots throwing around even more grease!

20250210_101918.jpg

This is likely the most scary part of all this! This is a subframe mounting bolt! Well as you can see it's warped and bent because of a major hard accident!

The oil filter is crushed? Like how even? How even does this happen!

A Nice And Blue Clutch!

Now that is the type of quality you want! For sure!

Laughs cracked up nah!!!!!

This thing is blue because it was pedal to the metal when the car didn't want to drive anymore! Laughs I'm sure giving more gas will sort out the problem right!

Not always no!
A new clutch for this guy as well!

Spotting the crack!

Dang! It's a hard one fellas! Might aswell get a second hand transmission, this is going to cost the client a fortune to fix!

Now the question is will the client fix! AHHA!

Straight through the goodies!

Signing off with this nice bearing retainer that is all melted up into shit! This transmission really got heated up hard!

I mean I would expect nothing less from something that hit the long roads!

A bad break for sure!

Although I didn't full understand the technical problems, your review sounds real bad!

Buying a second hand is always risky particularly when buying privately. Is that what happened here?

(Edited)

I don't really know the full back story of this guy, from what it sounds is he bought this car for his daughter, I assume privately. Otherwise he would have surely returned the car to the dealer.

The thing is I don't know exactly when he bought the car... maybe he got it patched up and wants to get all that messed up stuff, fixed😅

Sounds like someone pulled a scam on your client
It is always important to do research before purchasing anything these days.
Have a successful week

Gosh... What a waste, it looks good on the outside, but the inside is the important thing.

There's nothing salvageable on it?
