Making It To Jackson County! (The Last Of Us!)
Well Hello There Fellow Gamers And Hivers!
Inching Closer And Closer!
There we were on the outskirts of Jackson County! This meant that we are getting closer to our goal, which we didn't really know what it was to be honest. The first thing was to find Ben, Joel's brother!
Now here's the catch, it has been quite a few years so whether Ben is still alive is very questionable!
But what other choice do we have right?
This is a damned good find! The El Diablo pistol! Heck I don't know what it is but it has a scope so I can snipe someone with a pistol and have the same satisfaction if not more from it!
Let's tuck this one away until we can get some more bullets for it right!
The Dam!
Well this is something, a dam that is still very much intact? How very strange!
Let's just get through this out to the other side, it would be a fancy thing if this damn could still be used, a hydro electric dam! Having electricity in the apocalypse, ingenious right?
Of-course Ellie had a thousand questions about it as always!
A Way Over.
There was absolutely nowhere to cross over, so we had to be smart about it. Well it was either smart or stupid but we had to make a way across!
So we used the sluce doors as a sort of a walkway! Luckily they were able to be manually turned!
I mean we didn't have to go through all this effort, video games you know! Real life I would have just slapped through the water since I had to get Ellie to the other side via some sort of raft! More just a pellet that floats!
What A find! And to think I almost left it untouched!
Well finding a tightly packed room like this with resources is always a good find! Damn!
This kind of makes me think that something is soon to happen!
It also wasn't the easiest of tasks! I had to scrounge down their in the water to find this thing lodged down below somewhere!
Hella lot of effort just to get Ellie across so she could help release the other side of the sluce doors! Where I could just have jumped up on the ledge and be done with all this effort!
The Hard Truths!
How well this comes into play now! You know after loosing the two people we did earlier!
This just goes to show the real bad horrors of a world like this! Where children die young and the old just run away!
Will we ever recover from this?
No Other Way Around!
So this was meant to be avoided or maybe not!
We had no choice though, crossing through the hydro dam premises was a must! Had no other choice since the road was completely blocked and barred off!
Through there it was!
Occupied!
Okay this is something we didn't think of at all!
The Hydro dam was occupied! Now this is where we got real damned lucky! Immensely so!
These could have been bad people, we could have walked straight into the house of bad people!
What luck!
What a story to tell someday right?
I mean what are the odds of us meeting up with Ben here? Joels brother? Absolutely immense!
Things are starting to look real bright again! At-least I bet tonight we can sleep warm!
Life Seems So Normal Here!
I mean they have horses here and everything! I mean not everything but if you have horses you almost have everything right?
Like a little settlement where life is thriving it grows!
A Cluster Of Both Good And Bad Memories!
Ben went back home to Texas to where we used to live and brought back something that dug deep into the heart of Joel.
A picture worth a thousand words, a picture that Joel cared for deeply and one that Joel also didn't want to keep.
Ben decided to hold onto it for a while!
Way Too Much On Upgrades!
Yeahp you heard it! Way too much!
I did however decide to push everything into the shotgun and the shotgun pistol I have since they turn out to be my utmost favourite! I can not think of how I would go through this game without these two guns!
Mainly because the shotgun absolutely obliterates the clickers! Hell yeah!
Then Chaos Unleashed!
Then things took a turn for the worst! The Hydro electric dam got attacked again, by raiders.
If this is such a frequent thing then why did they get in so easily? This seems a little weird, If I had this place under my control I'd have it secured up before I get the actual generators running!
Safety comes before luxurious stuff right?
Whelp now to get out of this trouble!
