Finding Beauty In The Ordinary: Wednesday Walk
Well Hello There Fellow Hivers!
The last few weeks I've done some legit Wednesday Walks as for today well I'll be doing a little cheating and that's not so bad is it. 🤓
I started with this challenge or whatever one may call it to be able to make use of all the photos I took on the farmland back when I did some exploring during the worst of the Covid-19 pandemic. Who can remember when that struck? It feels like a life time ago now and it has been months since I've even heard anyone whisper the word covid... Might be it faded away like the pox in my country.
Anyways, I found a bunch of photos of the setting sun in the folder, now some I threw into the editing pot and stirred it for a while and I do fancy what came out of that cauldron. Although I think it might be a little too crisp for some people but I rather enjoy the look.
I have mentioned quite a few times that the sunsets on the farm is absolutely breathtaking and I've never been quite able to get photos that truely depicted how beautifull it really is, but I do think that these can shed some light on that. No pun intended. 🤣
Now how is that for timing, some may say I sat there for a hour or two waiting for the sun to fall exactly where I want it but nah. I don't have the patience for that I'm more of a on the go guy, besides going through the motion like that can make one feel more lucky for being then and there to witness a specific thing, if that even makes sense at all.
Yes, this was taken on the same day as the photo above, just a few minutes later. After getting that first beauty I was out on the hunt for more so I went into the fields and tried scavenging for another great one.
As I said earlier you feel more lucky that way and boy oh boy did I feel lucky that day. I wonder if I took these with mobile or the camera that day. Must have been mobile because the sun sets so fast if I had to turn around and go fetch the camera to take them I would have missed it. Come to think of it I must have most likely ran into the fields for this one.
Thinking back now, this was taken more recently or rather within the last year I THINK.
Although if I remember correctly the main purpose of this wasn't the sun it was more the cloud that seemed like it was rolling in. It doesn't look as great now but back when I took it it looked much better in person, I do feel the sunset overpowers the cloud a little but none the less.
See what I mean when I say the sunsets never disappoint?
Well in truth if you find the right spot you can always get a nice snap of anything.
What I do fancy about how this one came out is the sun-rays. They bounced off real nicely even though the photo is a little messy and busy with objects that got in the way. But if I didn't bend down to get the photo from underneath the hanging tree branches it would have been a simple and boring photo to say the least. One would have been able to say I just took a photo, nothing would have stood out on it.
So there really is a trick behind photography and it's something not every has, or most people would say that but I think most people don't really want to do the effort in taking a nice photo. They just snap it and close up there phone, they have no worries of even checking whether is turned out blurry.
Myself when I take a photo I inspect it so deeply before I move on to the next one I wish to take, i try to get the angle just right and yes sometimes you slip up but it's all about effort at the end of the day.
Well it wasn't exactly a Wednesday Walk but more a whole bunch of adventures crammed into one. I hope you all enjoyed the photos, I know it's actually more of a photography post but meh I've gotten accustomed to the Wednesday Walk adventure sharing.

The power of the sun shines through!
Nature rocks!!!
Always a sight to behold, it's sad how many take it for granted and don't even notice the beauty around them.

Hmmm Cheating would imply there are rules and I dont like rules so I say the only rule is have fun :)
those sunsets over the fields are gorgeous
thanks for joining the Wednesday Walk :)
It is, it really frukkin is... That's also the only downside of winter for me, they set before I can get home. Just once in a while when I get off from work a little earlier than usual am I able to catch them!
Summer time the sun sets well to the left of where it sets in the photos, then there's this hill which throws the best sun rays ever!

I love the view of the sunset! It looks beautiful. It made me think that not all endings are painful. Sunset, ending our day, is ultimately beautiful.
It really is something to look forward to everyday hey! Especially here on the farm they are always beautiful!
I will find a spot to perfectly watch sunset everyday.
Nice landscape! Thanks for sharing your "Monday till Sunday" walk! 😅😋
😂😂 Always a pleasure bud!
Have a great one!
