Days Gone: The Clutches Of Death!
Well Hello There Fellow Gamers And Hivers!
In the last episode of Days Gone Deacon got on the trail of one of those NERO helicopters flying around in the area. Of-course he didn't just jump on it because it gives a pumping adrenaline rush when chasing those helos! No Dr O'Brian gave him the co-ordinates and asked him if it was possible to put a tracker on the helo.
Well I won't say asked him but politely sort of forced him to do this, it was to be an exchange of information. Dr O'Brian wanted to find out what the other research teams were up to and Deacon wanted information about Sarah. Mainly if she was still alive, if he could just know that she's alive and well he would find his own path to her! He just had to know!
Boozer Is His Old Self Again!
Well at the very least partly.
Hey if Boozeman can make these jokes after just losing the arm I'm more than certain he won't mind me throwing a few jokes out there myself! Right?
While I was in the area at Lost Lake Camp I decided to go around and see if Boozer is doing okay. It would seem that I was worried for no reason at all! The first thing Boozer told me after asking him how things are going was "Well I could use a hand!"
I'll be more than glad to give the guy a hand! And he didn't stop there, oh no! He went on and on and I think it's doing him good making these jokes. Really it is, I would of-course have to ferry him around on the motorcycle now but that's the least of my worries!
Deacon Saved Lives!
This might come as a surprise to many who live in Lost Lake, but Deacon really has a good heart. The things he did, he had to do to stay alive and protect the ones he loves dearly and even that wasn't enough to protect them!
I think it meant a lot to Deacon for Addy to come approach him and actually thank him for the medication. But a real thanks coming from deep down in her heart!
Deacon needed that!
Oh and since Boozer won't be needing his shotgun anymore I think I can find some use for it!
Some Hectic Experiences!
After all that emotional drama Deacon experienced he decided to get out there in the wilderness and clear out some of those freakers, besides he did get another GPS co-ordinate from Dr O'Brian that he had to check out so why not cut down some freakers while heading over there!
He did just fine, until!
Until Deacon tried to save the bear from freakers chasing it down!
No doubt this is something that Deacon would not attempt ever again, in-fact he would rather just kill the bear next time!
The best part is that Deacon had already gotten on his bike and drove off, but when he made his next stop to investigate something he saw he heard the bear plummeting down on him and before he could even react he was pinned down on the ground!
He did however manage to jab the bear a few times in the chest, that did help. The bear decided to back off then.
However the backing down didn't last very long!
Running wasn't an option, believe me Deacon tried and he failed!
Before he was able to jump back onto his motorcycle he got ripped off it and by the time his body hit the floor he was in pieces!
Note to self, a bear might be more dangerous than a wolf. Slower and more slumpy but certainly it has a lot more brute force!
Well let's run it again!
The Research Team.
Well after that gruesome fight with the bear I decided to let the bear fight his own battles, I mean he was doing pretty great and didn't really need my help after all.
Finally the call came through from Dr O'Brian and he sounded, well he sounded somewhat paranoid to say the least. This is getting on my nerves now, really it is!
I've not gotten any information from the guy revolving around Sarah and I've done two runs for him thus far and I have a feeling I might be doing a great deal more for him before all this is over!
Escaping The Clutches Of Death Itself!
After planting the tracker on the NERO helicopter I made my way back to some cabin out on the lake. Rikki contacted me to to ask if I might be able to help chase this guy named Lynchman down. But okay we will get to that shortly.
There I was minding my own business by killing some freakers straying around in the woods and the moment I wanted to get back onto the motorcycle things got out of hand real fast! I was knee deep in the thickest shit I've ever been in so I decided to drop down the face of the cliff with the motorcycle still in my grips!
At that point getting away from the horde was the priority, how I did that wasn't that big of a priority.
Well I won't say much about the final chase because it wasn't all that exciting, except for the fact they threw me with molotov cocktails! Now that was something exciting!
That pretty much sums up the episode nicely! My other thoughts are pointing hard to Lisa she went missing a couple of weeks ago and no one has heard form her since. I have to get on her trail next week because this is somewhat saddening!
