Wednesday Walk Some shots downtown here in New Bedford

Oops i messed up of course today is Tuesday not Wednesday, so apologies for that but I have posted it now so too late to change it

Thanks again for all the support andf prayers for our Daughter In Law, she is improving day by day, yesterday a big change actually she is more alert and able to speak a little, which is so good to see, still very weak, but she is expressing either in words or looks thta she wants out and to be home for christmas, but that is very unlikely, they put in a Central PIC line yesterday as her arms are beat up from the IV's, and they would not do that if they thought she was getting out in the next day or so.

She is doing better as I said but has a long road ahead I think, will need to get her stabilized even more and then the specialist will discuss the condition of her liver, which the Internist says is not good at all and a transplant may well be needed, but thats of course the call of the specialist

This post if for Wednesday walk challenge
Any questions about the challenge read the guide at the Bottom of the post ;)

I have been getting my steps in each day but nothing interesting to see or share in our sunroom, where i am getting most of my steps in at the moment, so sharing some shots from a walk back in spring, in the Historic district here in New Bedford, MA.

Starting in Court Square, an area where they have some walls open for street artists to share their work, some spots seem to be rotational and often changing and some more permanent, such as this love mural

so much anger and hatred inthe world these days, we need more love kindness and compassion

John Harrison Warehouse at 23 Centre Street. the sign still hanging for P. Kaller & Son Wholesale Beef Provisions, which was a historic New Bedford, MA meat business, but it is now permanently closed, with its iconic building at 23 Centre Street now housing the Fiber Optic Center (FOC). While the original beef business is gone, the building preserves its history,

Wednesday Walk is a challenge started by me, the idea is to get out for a short walk and get some shots of what you can see within a short distance of your home office or wherever you start. And this is my entry for this week, but first, let me explain the challenge.

This is my post for the Wednesday Walk challenge hosted by myself, let me first explain the guidelines

Try and get out once a week for a short walk, can be from your office, home or anywhere really and walk for a few blocks or a few minutes looking for things to get shots of.

Your walk does not have to be on a Wednesday I just ask if possible to share your walk photos on a Wednesday.

Try and get a few shots not just one

Add a bit of a write up about where you walked

Just one Wednesday Walk tagged post a week

You can look for anything in general or decide on one subject you want to get shots off.

Make a point of looking around and up and see what you can find to get shots of that otherwise you may miss

Do a post with the shots you get on a Wednesday and tag it with #wednesdaywalk, also if you happen to join, please leave a link to your post in a comment on this post and I will try and visit them all, especially if its not one of the first 5 tags or I may miss seeing it .

Following me and re-Hiving the post so more see it would be appreciated but isn't a rule just a suggestion.

I am not strict on these rules and hence why they are called guidelines and not rules

I will try and visit, and upvote all who take part in the Wednesday Walk.

I hope a few of you may find this an interesting challenge and decide to join in.

unless stated otherwise all photos used in my posts are taken and owned by myself, if you wish to use any of my images please contact me.

I'm so glad your daughter-in-law has regained consciousness and is now alert to stimuli. That's a very good sign!

Hi!
It's good that they detected that detail in the tests, as it will prevent any future health problems. It's best to wait as long as necessary and then celebrate properly.
I'm so glad she's feeling better and just needs a blood transfusion. I hope she gets the necessary blood today and is home soon!

It's pretty easy to get the days mixed up this time of year. Plus you have had a lot going on. That is cool that they keep the signs up for that old beef building even though it is something else now.

How are you, dear friend @tattoodjay?

It's wonderful to hear your daughter-in-law is doing much better; this is such a joy. She needs to take it easy, and everything will be alright. We'll pray for that.

What beautiful photos! I love how colorful they are.

Good morning, Mr. @tattoodjay

It's wonderful to hear that your daughter-in-law is doing much better. I hope the specialist finds everything is alright and that she doesn't need a transplant. Let's pray that doesn't happen.

This place is beautiful, and the photos are lovely.

Have a wonderful day!

Nice #wednesdaywalk 👍 I like and agree about the LOVE mural, the world could use a little more lately. We are getting some snow so we will have a nice, white Christmas 🙂 Hopefully your family will find a way to make it a Happy Christmas even if your daughter in law doesn't make it home.
