Wednesday Walk Some of my favorite spots to walk
Some of my favorite spots to walk
This post if for Wednesday walk challenge
Any questions about the challenge read the guide at the Bottom of the post ;)
Good Morning, and I hope your week is going well
I still have not been out for photo walks yet. We have had a couple of warmer days where I would have bene tempted to head out for a walk if not for the fact that it was raining, but I hope this warming trend continues and I am soon out for my photo walks nd getting new photos to edit and share,
That said I am still getting in my steps in most days walking back and forth in our sunroom, and averaging over 10k steps a day, but I must admit that is getting boring, I have an exercise bike which arrived a few days ago so adding that to my morning routine, for now starting with 30 Minutes walking and then 10 or so minutes riding, then another 10 MInutes or so of walkign to cool down
as my legs and knees get used to to I will increase the riding time, which will of course lower my walking step count for the day but thats OK as long as I burn a good amount of calories with activity each morning
These shots are all from last year but ones I had not edited or shared of some of my favorite spots for morning walks
Starting with this one parked by the harbor walk and looking out over the pier

this next shot covers one spot I park but a couple of spots I walk, parking at the port and either walking around the port, or crossing the road and strolling through the historic district

And perhaps the spot i visit the most, Fort Tabor park, where i can walk on the beach, around the fort and park, or out of the park to East Beach

Wednesday Walk is a challenge started by me, the idea is to get out for a short walk and get some shots of what you can see within a short distance of your home office or wherever you start. And this is my entry for this week, but first, let me explain the challenge.
This is my post for the Wednesday Walk challenge hosted by myself, let me first explain the guidelines
Try and get out once a week for a short walk, can be from your office, home or anywhere really and walk for a few blocks or a few minutes looking for things to get shots of.
Your walk does not have to be on a Wednesday I just ask if possible to share your walk photos on a Wednesday.
Try and get a few shots not just one
Add a bit of a write up about where you walked
Just one Wednesday Walk tagged post a week
You can look for anything in general or decide on one subject you want to get shots off.
Make a point of looking around and up and see what you can find to get shots of that otherwise you may miss
Do a post with the shots you get on a Wednesday and tag it with #wednesdaywalk, also if you happen to join, please leave a link to your post in a comment on this post and I will try and visit them all, especially if its not one of the first 5 tags or I may miss seeing it .
Following me and re-Hiving the post so more see it would be appreciated but isn't a rule just a suggestion.
I am not strict on these rules and hence why they are called guidelines and not rules
I will try and visit, and upvote all who take part in the Wednesday Walk.
I hope a few of you may find this an interesting challenge and decide to join in.
unless stated otherwise all photos used in my posts are taken and owned by myself, if you wish to use any of my images please contact me.

At this time of day, swimming at the beach is spectacular for me. And with views like these, even better!
As always, fantastic photos!

How are you, my dear friend @tattoodjay?
It's great that the temperature has risen, it's a shame the rain prevented you from your hike.
You have some really great places to go hiking; I love the architecture of those beautiful buildings.
Excellent shots!
Yes, it gets boring always walking in place without going out, but the number of steps is fine and the bike will help you a lot, you will progress little by little. Regarding the walk, what beautiful pictures, I prefer the sky in the last one for its variety of colours, I'm always amazed by your pictures! Thank you for this walk!
I can see why those are your favourite walks but if that's in the morning that is way way way too early XD
Hopefully, the weather will improve, and you will be able to take some new photos to add to your collection! In the meantime, there's nothing wrong with checking out some old ones and remembering great walks in the sunset, or during the night... I have no skills for taking night photos, and probably because of that, I like to check out how others are doing them... And your street photograph from this collection looks surreal! Almost like a rendered 3d image! 😍

Good day, Mr. @tattoodjay
It's great that even though you're not leaving the house, you can still do your daily walks indoors. That's fantastic!
What beautiful photographs!
Step by step, the important thing is that you are managing to walk every day. Even if it is boring to walk in the same place, the important thing is not to stop. The blue in the photos makes us think about how beautiful nature and life are.
I'm glad these are some older photos you are sharing. It's much too cold to be out walking right now. They are calling for temps around -25 come the weekend. Guess it's going to be one of the harder winters this year!
Walking with your favorite spots sounds like a beautiful way to spend and relax......this calming spots made us pause and breathe...
