This week I actually can share photos from recent walks, we had some nice days all be it also with a lot of rain but warmer and I made the most of it, gettign out when it wasnt rainy, even a couple of early morning walks, but mos tof my Wednesday walk post are early morning walks so instead sharing a walk I did around the pond in Buttonwood Park
the heavy rain has created a few puddles that almos look like small ponds around the pond

across the pond more ducks geese and seagulls, soon we should see some of the migratory birds returning

Wednesday Walk is a challenge started by me, the idea is to get out for a short walk and get some shots of what you can see within a short distance of your home office or wherever you start. And this is my entry for this week, but first, let me explain the challenge.
This is my post for the Wednesday Walk challenge hosted by myself, let me first explain the guidelines
Try and get out once a week for a short walk, can be from your office, home or anywhere really and walk for a few blocks or a few minutes looking for things to get shots of.
Your walk does not have to be on a Wednesday I just ask if possible to share your walk photos on a Wednesday.
Try and get a few shots not just one
Add a bit of a write up about where you walked
Just one Wednesday Walk tagged post a week
You can look for anything in general or decide on one subject you want to get shots off.
Make a point of looking around and up and see what you can find to get shots of that otherwise you may miss
Do a post with the shots you get on a Wednesday and tag it with #wednesdaywalk, also if you happen to join, please leave a link to your post in a comment on this post and I will try and visit them all, especially if its not one of the first 5 tags or I may miss seeing it .
Following me and re-Hiving the post so more see it would be appreciated but isn't a rule just a suggestion.
I am not strict on these rules and hence why they are called guidelines and not rules
I will try and visit, and upvote all who take part in the Wednesday Walk.
I hope a few of you may find this an interesting challenge and decide to join in.

It looks like it's starting to warm up around there! You do have to take advantage when it isn't raining, it's that time of year. What a nice park for a walk with the pond and the ducks and geese. I bet in summer it's very green, that's one of those things I miss from the east coast.
Ohh yes that park is so green in spring and summer infact I do have a post coming up which will show that

Fantastic shots. I already wrote my post for today, but I am getting ready to take a walk myself right now. I hope to get some good snaps while I am out!
I hope you got a nice walk in, I didnt today its nice enough out but have to go to city council meeting there building a sober home in our street right next door to our place and the people on the street arent too happy, will go to the meeting to see what is said
Oh wow, that is pretty interesting. I hope it all goes okay for you. I am at about five miles so far. I will probably pick up at least one more before the day is done. It's a lot hotter out than I realized today.
Yeah I dont think any amopunt of meetings will stop them setting up a sober house, I have mixed feelings, I do feel there is the need for them to help people recover and hence feel kind of two faced not wantingone right next door to where i live
I get it is a hard decision. I hope it all works out for the best.

I love the color of the duck in the last photo, I had seen mostly white ones.
Those pictures by the pond looking wonderful, I love the first picture with the duck reflection in the water. So glad you had the chance to venture out for a walk amid the rain. Thank you for sharing and wishing you an amazing Thursday ahead :}
