Wednesday Walk by the pond
Wednesday Walk by the pond
As I prepare this post I have not been out for any photowalks over the last week as my shoulder although is improving still is painful to move to far in certain poitions, the prednisone sure has helped not sure if it will get worse when I finish the 10 days of them time will tell.
BUt I am trying to be sensible and do as little that irritates my shoulder so not gettign out for photowalks, mind you the weather hasnt been ideal for them, so thats easy.
Also spendign less time on the computer as the position I sit and use the mouse seems to bother my shoulder, so this week I will not be commenting on allthe Wednesday walk posts sorry
But this was the last walk I took, I ended up gettign a nice walk as it was a comfortable and pleasant day, but after about 15 minutes i packed the camera away and dropped it intot he car and just walked as my shoulder was not enjoying the whole taking photos thing.
That said I have bene good with gettign my steps in each morning walking back and forth in our sunrom, gettign over 10K steps in every day, and thta and with trying to eat healthier I have lost the weight i put on in early winter, not that I had put on much, I am done to 178lbs, just 3 off what they say my idela weight is, and 2 lbs higher than when I got out of hospital last year, would be cool to get down to my ideal weight but not stressing or over doing it to get there just trying to keep my steps in and stay healthy
This post if for Wednesday walk challenge
Any questions about the challenge read the guide at the Bottom of the post ;)
If you knwo me or have followedme for a while you will know I will always get a shot of this tree on a little island inthe middle of the pond

OK clearly I didnt just take my lightest lens on this walk as I note this is at 142mm so i had my 50-400mm lens, which although not my heaviest lens for sure isnt the lightest
this swana nd one other saw me standing byt he pond and headed right over to the edge of the pond right in front of me

I realised i was in a spot i have noticed a person feeding the birds and I think the swans were expecting foods, they were watchign me closely, I moved along, I didnt want them to get hornery when they realised i had no food for them

Wednesday Walk is a challenge started by me, the idea is to get out for a short walk and get some shots of what you can see within a short distance of your home office or wherever you start. And this is my entry for this week, but first, let me explain the challenge.
This is my post for the Wednesday Walk challenge hosted by myself, let me first explain the guidelines
Try and get out once a week for a short walk, can be from your office, home or anywhere really and walk for a few blocks or a few minutes looking for things to get shots of.
Your walk does not have to be on a Wednesday I just ask if possible to share your walk photos on a Wednesday.
Try and get a few shots not just one
Add a bit of a write up about where you walked
Just one Wednesday Walk tagged post a week
You can look for anything in general or decide on one subject you want to get shots off.
Make a point of looking around and up and see what you can find to get shots of that otherwise you may miss
Do a post with the shots you get on a Wednesday and tag it with #wednesdaywalk, also if you happen to join, please leave a link to your post in a comment on this post and I will try and visit them all, especially if its not one of the first 5 tags or I may miss seeing it .
Following me and re-Hiving the post so more see it would be appreciated but isn't a rule just a suggestion.
I am not strict on these rules and hence why they are called guidelines and not rules
I will try and visit, and upvote all who take part in the Wednesday Walk.
You should take the best possible care of that shoulder before you make any effort, it had better heal well. I loved the walk, especially the last photo, what a beautiful bird! Have a nice afternoon!!!
Beautiful capture of the pond and swans; it looks peaceful and content or perhaps waiting for you to give them food. Speedy recovery to your shoulder. Thanks very much for your support in this community.
Nice shots! The whole computer thing is definitely key. My physical therapist has been bugging me to get a new office chair for a while now. I need to finally get around and do that!
Thanks, I probably ned a new chair, I have had this one for years and its a bit beaten down, and also the height doesnt adjust now and its a bit low, probably I should get one soon it may help a lot
My biggest issue is that I slouch. I need something with a bit more lumbar suppor that moves my shoulders backward into the right position.
Maybe we both need to be looking at gettign new chairs, LOL
Hope your shoulder heals quickly. Well done for losing weight. I've been watching what I eat, so I've lost weight too. I can get out the bath much easier now! 😁
Good morning @tattoodjay , how are you? I hope you are healthy and happy , the view of the pond is very beautiful, happy geese looking for food. Thank you.happy days,
I am sorry to hear about your shoulder. I feel the same way for about a month now. I always feel that I have a frozen shoulder.- My shoulder is stiff and painful, and the pain radiates down my arm and into my fingers. I already had a therapy last week.
How are you, dear friend @tattoodjay?
I'm so sorry your shoulder pain continues, dear friend, and you haven't been able to go for a walk and take some photos.
You'll definitely soon reach your ideal weight to be healthy.
This pond is great, and the tree inside always looks good.
Beautiful bird shots.
Have a great day.
Hello there @tatoodjay !
I hope your shoulder gets better soon, within the next days!

Thnaks so much, it is improving witht he exercises but I am tryingto be sensible and let it heal a lot more before I start using it other than for the Therapy exercises
Hope you will feel better soon!
I understand if you won't drop by in my post,no worries. Besides I always know how supportive you are to everyone that post in your community!
Wow, wow, wow!!! A beautiful walk
Hello, I hope you get better soon. I also got given prednisone two weeks ago for an infection and helped me a lot with the pain. I hope it's also making you feel normal with no pain....Yes, I remember that tree... I so love the 3rd picture. I had a moment like this with ducks but didn't manage to get a frontal photo...😄 Anyways, joining the Wednesday Walk this week after a long while so I'm hoping that I'm doing the right thing. 😊 Below is the link. Thank you!

Best wishes.
Hello Mr. @tattoodjay, good afternoon.
I'm so sorry about the pain in your shoulders. I hope you recover soon.
!BEER
It is good that even you are not really feeling good you still go out. Please feel better soon and be safe.
Thanks I am being sensible and taking it easy to give my shoulkder time to heal
!pimp
Oh so sorry about your shoulders, please get well soon.
Meanwhile, I enjoyed your walk here through your pictures, the cool environment and nature sight looks so beautiful 😍 and appealing to the eye.
Nice one, I look forward to more when you bounce back completely.
Please get healed soon.
You got some nice shots in there even though the old shoulder still isn't 100%. It is funny how birds get so accustomed to being fed by people. It does bring them in close but if you have no food they are out of there!
I hope that shoulder is slowly improving, it really sucks to have a sore shoulder!
