Wednesday Walk at the zoo

Wednesday Walk at the zoo

Health update

On the good side stomach is coping well on the puree diet, still loosing weight about 9lbs down from before this started, but seems part of a catheter from an IV drip was left in my arm so probably will be going in again today to hospital to have it removed, hopefully thats quick and easy

This post if for Wednesday walk challenge
Any questions about the challenge read the guide at the Bottom of the post ;)

I had planned to share some shots from a walk yesterday in a spot I had not been to this year yet , But when I got home from that walk my stomach started cramping real badly and i ended up spending the day pretty much resting on the couch, and this morning its not much better, well maybe worse, lets just say I cant go to far from the toilet at the moment, so sharing these shots from a visit I did a week or so ago at the Buttonwood Park zoo here in New Bedford and wont say to much just add the photos a few words, save the draft and go lay down and hope I feel better later in the day, I suspect its my Hiatal hernia playing up, but resisting going to the Doctor or urgent care for now

Wednesday Walk is a challenge started by me, the idea is to get out for a short walk and get some shots of what you can see within a short distance of your home office or wherever you start. And this is my entry for this week, but first, let me explain the challenge.

This is my post for the Wednesday Walk challenge hosted by myself, let me first explain the guidelines

Try and get out once a week for a short walk, can be from your office, home or anywhere really and walk for a few blocks or a few minutes looking for things to get shots of.

Your walk does not have to be on a Wednesday I just ask if possible to share your walk photos on a Wednesday.

Try and get a few shots not just one

Add a bit of a write up about where you walked

Just one Wednesday Walk tagged post a week

You can look for anything in general or decide on one subject you want to get shots off.

Make a point of looking around and up and see what you can find to get shots of that otherwise you may miss

Do a post with the shots you get on a Wednesday and tag it with #wednesdaywalk, also if you happen to join, please leave a link to your post in a comment on this post and I will try and visit them all, especially if its not one of the first 5 tags or I may miss seeing it .

Following me and re-Hiving the post so more see it would be appreciated but isn't a rule just a suggestion.

I am not strict on these rules and hence why they are called guidelines and not rules

I will try and visit, and upvote all who take part in the Wednesday Walk.

I hope a few of you may find this an interesting challenge and decide to join in.

unless stated otherwise all photos used in my posts are taken and owned by myself, if you wish to use any of my images please contact me.

I hope it's nothing serious with your stomach and that you recover very soon and that the hospital visit is quick. And also that you can go back to the zoo, it looks beautiful! A big hug!

I hope the catheter removal is quick and uneventful. It's great that the diet is working out.

What a beautiful entrance to the zoo, filled with vegetation.

Excellent shots.

Get well soon, dear friend @tattoodjay.

Feel better soon and do not rush to do things, let your body rest a lot and have more time to rest and follow your doctors order.

I hope that stomach issue calms down, but as you know if it's getting worse best get it taken care of earlier rather than later. It's miserable to have stomach pain like that! I do hope they can remove the catheter today, the longer they stay the bigger the chance they can get infected. Take care of yourself brother!

Nice shots of the zoo, too bad you aren't up to getting there today. They have some great landscaping surrounding it, I bet in fall there will be a lot of great colors just at the zoo alone!

I was a bit frustrated after 4 and a half hours in the ER they said it wasnt urgent and will schedule sometime next week to remove it

starting to see the fall colors come out hope I am able to get out soon, but not till at least I get the catheter removed

Plenty selection for pollinators to enjoy in the zoo, also animals not being caged free to come and go.

Hope all goes well at doc and you managed to overcome the bug.
