Soon it will be spring :)
Soon it will be spring :)
the first couple of paragraphs were written a week ago, the blizzard past, the 37 Inches of snow is slowly melting away, but will take a while, but most of the roads are now cleared and passable, and hopefully after another cool day today we may see a warming trend
The blizzard outside is doing the absolute most, but mentally I’m already sipping a cool drink, complaining about pollen, and pretending I like walking or jogging in mild weather. Snowflakes may be falling, but my thoughts are blooming — because somewhere beneath this frosty tantrum, spring is patiently waiting for its grand entrance.
I am preparing this post during the blizzard, and will share in about a week, so that may explain the first paragraph which were thoughts that came to me this morning, looking outside the front window and realizing I can't see the road, let alone houses across the street
So yes I am thinking of spring and sharing a few shots of a visit to Buttonwood Park at the start of spring last year
One of the first signs of spring each year is when the daffodils bloom, they always make me think of my Dad who was a great gardener, both for flowers and vegetables, but Daffodils were one thing I remember in his flower gardens.
I would like to think I got some good traits and habits from him :), but gardening is something I did not inherit from him, I have no luck with gardening

SAnd buttonwood park here in New Bedford has this nice area where many of them come up, I do love visiting there each spring, on one of my rare during the day photo walks

NOw this may not have a wpring feel, but it was at the same time as the other shots, and I liked the reflection inthepuddle

Good day, Mr. @tattoodjay.
I'm so sorry it's still cold there; I hope the beautiful, warm days arrive soon.
I'm a nature lover; I adore flowers.
What beautiful photographs.
Ah, I love the daffodils. They are calling for temps close to 60 this weekend, so I have a feeling it will be heading your way shortly after that. I am kind of excited. I still can't imagine 37 inches of snow though, that's nuts.
It is nuts. Saw all that snow on TV and thought I should stop bitchin about what we have received.
Yeah, I wish we would get that at least once a year though. It's sad how little we get in Michigan lately.
I am so surpised you don't get more lake effect stuff up there.
We are on the wrong side of the state for it. Over on the west side of the state they still get quite a bit. I think it has to do with the jet stream and stuff. Occasionally the wind will switch and we get some lake effect off Lake Huron.
similar here will hit low 50s hopefully that trend continues :)
I have been thinking a lot about sppring as well. Our daffodils still haven't came up yet. The forecast is calling for snow again next Thursday.
We have a few warmer days coming up may even hit low 50s, so hopefully that trend continues :)

Very soon you will be able to go out for walks like before. Spring will be wonderful, and even though you saw snow at that moment, you already had spring on your mind. I loved the third photograph with those reflections on the water. Beautiful! Have a lovely day!
