soon it will be spring
soon it will be spring
Good Morning
Another wishful thinking post again, the long range forecast does show some warming up and a few rainy days So I remain hopeful as I post this that soon I will be getting out and about with my camera for photo walks, its been a long tough winter and my camera has been sitting in my camera bag for far too long.
Well an update before I share this, we have had a couple of nice days without rain where i could have got out for a walk, but those days I had other things I had to do and couldnt find time to get out for a photo walk, so again I say hopefully soon, perhaps even today :)
Whats your favorite season?
I used to say I do not really have a favorite season, I loved them all and the variety they bring, but that has changed for me over the last few years.
With age and health issues I feel the cold more these days and tend to get stuck indoors over winter, so thats easy to scratch out of contention.
The other three seasons I still enjoy, some complain about the heat in summer, but that doesn't bother me so much, perhaps because I like going for early morning walks thats doesnt bother me, even the odd time I go out for ealks during the day, mind you that said I try to avoid being in the sun for long, have had too many bits of skin cancer removed, so I avoid direct sunlight for the most part, or when I do cover up withg sunscreen and often a light jacket
Fall I do love with all the colors it brings, but also find it as Mother nature teasing us before the long cold grey winter months coming after, and last year Autumn/Fall seemed so short.
Spo right now as I am looking forward to it I think I will have to say Spring is my favorite season

Beautiful shots! As much as I want to say Fall, it is just far too short most of the time. I think I would have to go with Summer because there is just so much to do. Yes, it can get miserably hot, but being able to be outdoors the majority of the time trumps that I think.
the last one looks like a magnolia , or as some call it tuliptree .
🎉🎉🥳 Congratulations 🥳🎊🎊

How are you, my dear friend @tattoodjay?
It's a shame you couldn't take advantage of the good days you had, but as you say, when there are commitments, nothing can be done.
I hope you can resume your walks soon.
Excellent shots!
Good day, Mr. @tattoodjay
It's great to know that spring will soon be here and you can resume your photography walks.
I really love autumn and spring.
What beautiful flower photos!
I too love all the seasons, Jay, but agree that the older we get the less winter is enjoyed as the months seem to drag on. Spring is also my favorite season when nature begins to burst forth with new life. Enjoy your early morning walks.
Congratulations @tattoodjay! You received the biggest smile and some love from TravelFeed! Keep up the amazing blog. 😍 Your post was also chosen as top pick of the day and is now featured on the TravelFeed front page.

I too enjoy all of the seasons in different ways. In a country where we get all 4 distinct seasons and s long winter, we could choose not to enjoy one of them but be left with equal amounts of that season and just less enjoyment.
Spring is such a fantastic relief from a long Canadian winter and fall holds a wonderful transition from a hot summer to a winter wonderland. All that being the case, summer is short enough up here that i never tire of it and is my favoutire of them all.
Nice to see the blooms starting there which must mean we are not far behind. I will take spring about now and am looking forward to some fresh new blooms.
