Good Morning, wishing you all a good day
I was looking through my edited photos thinking about what post I could prepare today and decided to go with shots all feauturing the color red.
Now i mention going through my edited photos, when I go out for walks inthe wearmer months I take a lot of photos at times I think too many, but when we have a winter like this and I do not get out much, I am glad I take plenty during the nice weather.
Often when I go through my photos after a photo walk I will edit a bunch of photos, and at the time I may not share them all in a post, so I end up with plenty of edited photos that I can quickly pick for a post without having t take the time to edit photos and thats the option I went with today.
Starting with this shot at the Port of New Bedford
I was actually looking at taking a shot of the pulley then noticed the red frame and zoomed out a bit

Now this is me doing some light painting a while back, this didnt come out at all like I planned but for some reason I still like it

Of course if doing a post on reds i had to include a light trail shot this on the swing bridge between New Bedford and Fairhaven MA

OK lots of color sin this shot but the reds grab my attention in it
I always take note of the name sof boats and this one caught my eye, Chaz has a nice toy :)

It's a good idea to take one color and make a selection of photos based on it - I wanted to try that too (when I have a suitable number of photos) 👍

Some colors are easier than others to do :)
It might be time for me to play around with some light painting. Looks cool!
It is a fun thing to try, once it warms up again in the mornings I will be tryign some more

Even if the light painting didn't come out the way you wanted, I think it still looks really good. It reminds me of a sphere floating there. It's pretty cool.
a sphere was what I was trying to do but came up with a funy one lOL

that oen did come out a bit funky
The red light painting is fun. Seems like evil. Like maybe a portal from hell 😅 lol
others have said that has an evil feel to it, i had not thought of it that way but now I can see it

indeed so true, and last year was a bad year for total photos taken with me being somewhat grounded for a couple of months but still had plenty to get through winter
