mono Monday Battleship cove

Mono Monday Battleship cove

I thought I should do a post and an update

The surgery went well, I am feeling almost back to normal now, still have to be careful not to lift anything heavy for a few weeks, so that and the cooler temps, I haven't been out with my camera bag yet, and honestly looking at the temps for the next week I think winter is coming early so do not see myself getting out for morning walks till spring :(

But that said, I am going to try and get back to posting and commenting more regularly maybe not every day intitially, as I need to edit a bunch of photos from walks earlier this year to have some to put in posts, and I also have some ideas for some creative photography I can do in the basement till I am out for my morning wealks again

But starting off with some Mono shots, as I like to share on Mondays,
These are taken from an early morning visit to Heritage State Park in Fall River, a couple of months back

Now I titled this with Battleship Cove, but strictly speaking, I was in Heritage Park, but many of the shots are looking at the ships in Battleship Cove

Starting with this shot showing the boardwalk in the park, the building hosting the carousel under the Brage Bridge and one of the Nabval ships in Battleship cover

Battleship Cove in Fall River, MA, is a non-profit war memorial and maritime museum that preserves historic naval vessels and honors veterans. It is home to five National Historic Landmarks, including the battleship USS Massachusetts, the destroyer USS Joseph P. Kennedy Jr., and the submarine USS Lionfish, and offers educational exhibits, special events, and activities for visitors of all ages

a closer shot of the building, which has an old carousel in it, I haven't seen the carousel as I have never visited there during the day when it is open

and more of the ships in Battleship Cove

Nice shots and work in the light room! They came out great! I'm glad you're almost back to normal, and soon you'll be able to use that camera again. Always wise to heed the doctor's advice and take it easy on the lifting!

That first shot came out really nice with almost the artificial blue color, very pretty result!

This is wonderful. Now that’s good news indeed! 🌟 Bit by bit, you’ll get back to your usual posting rhythm. Don’t push yourself… let everything flow. Remember, photography is like a meditative state. 😉
