Mono Monday at the port

Mono Monday at the port

Good Morning, I hope you all had a good weekend and may the week ahead go well

as is my habity sharing a few mono shots to start the week.
These are all from a recent walk at the port, and may be a teaser for mt Wednesday walk post, I'n not sure of that yet as I have bene able to get out fo9r a few walks this past week and not sure which one I will edit photos from for my Wednesday walk post yet

This morning the weather apps were telling me it was very foggy so I thought that would be a good moad to the port, but i soon found out that yet again the forecast wasnt accurate and there was no fog at all or minimal in the distance, but still got a nice walk in at the port

Starting with a couple of the commercial fishing boats K.A.T.E and K.A.T.E II, at first I was thinking the owner likes the name Kate and maybe it has some significance as in a family member or somehting like that, but then i got thinking its K.A.T.E not Kate so do the full stops have some significance, maybe its an Acronym for something, probbably I will never know

Next up is the Ernestina Morrisey Schooner, a grand old ship

What caught my eye in this next shot was not so much the boats but the light and shadows on the pier and is my favorite shot of this series

Lovely pics man.

I wonder what K.A.T.E means.

Might be a business name or something.

I love how you tweak the color to make the pictures look older than they really are. It's really a cool effect! I suppose you could ask the K.A.T.E. people if you ever see them on the boats. That schooner is a really cool ship, it's always nice to see them in such well maintained condition. Great job on all of them, they look awesome!

Awesome capture of the light and shadow interplay on the pier 👍 I wonder if the Ernestina Morrisey would fit under the Brooklyn Bridge 😅
