Mono Monday a few recent shots

Mono Monday a few recent shots

Good Morning, a new work week begins and may it be a good one for you.

Keeping with my habit of sharing a few Mono edits from recent walks to start the week

Starting with this shot as I was standing on the Swing Truss Bridge between New Bedford and Fairhaven
Funny thing with this shot, a Guy was out walking his dog that morning and he was walking towards me on the bridge as I took this shot but with him moving and the 6 second exposure he wasn't caught in the photo at all

And speaking of funny there is a technique in photography called ICM

Intentional Camera Movement (ICM) photography is a creative technique that involves deliberately moving the camera during a long exposure to produce abstract, painterly, or impressionistic images

And its a technique I have tried a couple of times, and must try again it can create some cool effects

but this shot is not that if anything it is UCM unintentional camera Movement, and also I didn't even know I took this

When I got home after a morning walk at the port, I noticed the first shot on my camera was this, I think what happened was i bought a new remote for my camera, and this was the first day I was using it, and I first got it out of the bag, and sat the camera on the car seat and checked the remote had connected to it.

and at that time I must have clicked the shutter button without realizing it, and mounted my camera on the tripod.

so its totally unplanned and accidental, but I kind of like the funky abstract feel to it This was also on popes island

Bloops photography sometimes turns into an outlandish detail, light moments to smile about later.

Good morning, Mr. @tattoodjay

All the photos you've taken are beautiful. I love the monochrome shots.

This technique (ICM) is brilliant; you created a shot that's truly an art.

Have a beautiful day.

That second on is pretty funky, I like it. That second to the last where you added in the blue is really cool. Very well done!
