Mono Monday a few random images

Mono Monday a few random images

Good Morning i hope you all had a good weekend and wishing you a good week ahead

As I tend to do I am starting the week with a few mono images from various walks all be it none of them recent, as I haven't been out for a walk for a couple of weeks or more, but from just before then when I was getting out and about for walks most days and shots from a few places I go to now and again when heading out for walks, a mix of early morning and day time walks

Starting by the Pier on Rodney French Boulevard I often visit in the early morning hours when it is so peaceful and quiet by far my favorite time to be out and about, i am not a social person I Guess I could say much prefer out walking when there is no one or hardly anyone else out and about

And I think the only spot i have been to for a daytime walk for a long while Buttonwood Park Zoo, and this is Emily, she is a 61 Year old elephant just a few years younger than me

Strength at every level in every shade of gray offered by the monochrome technique.
Bravo!

love how you mentioned Emily being 61, thats wild :)
The way you talk about her makes the Zoo feel like a regular neighbor stop, and that vibe is soothing.
Funny how an ELephant can outpace our step goals without even trying.
Keep these Monday notes coming, they make the week feel a bit lighter.

That first one came out nice, it almost looks like you didn't have to tweak it much in light room. The greens in the old downtown came out interesting, very odd feel to it but cool at the same time. Same with the purples on the last two. Emily looks great in black and white though!

How have you been feeling the last couple days?

That's what keeps it interesting! Ansel Adams used to spend many long hours perfecting his photos in his prints, doing one after another until he got just what he liked!
