Light trails

Good Morning and I hope all is well with you

I have recently bene out using my light painting tools to create a few images, but this morning i was thinking of how my journey to buy some tools for light painting began

I as you know often go out early morning for my walks, liking to get to the spots I go arriving at leats 45 minutes before the sun is due to rise, sometimes i get there even earlier and it is still quite dark, and if i am in a spot where say for example cars or other vehicles may go driving by, I always enjoyed taking long exposures and trying to catch some cool light trails from them as they go by

Well I shouldnt perhaps say always enjoyed as it perhaps implies I don't enjoy doing that so much these days which is not true at all I still if the chance arises try to catch some cool light trails.

NOw the coolest spots perhpas to get amazign light trails is higher up view points of highways or spots with lots of traffic, but i havent found good spots for that around here in New Bedford, so I wont try and pretend these shots I will share are amazing but I do think they are cool enough to share

One spot I will often try for these shots is when I go to Popes Island and walk over the old Swing bridge there, now this light trail is quite high as you can see, I do believ this as from of all things a rubbish truck

This is in Dartmouth another neighbouring town on a bridge there not much of a light trail but and i am not sure why I personally really like this one

One popes Island again and again the swing bridge, this time on a foggy morning and rather than lioght trails from vehicles they are from the lights on the barriers coming down to block traffic on the bridge so it can open and the boats can pass through
