Keeping my sanity over winter Brick building Funwhole Carpentry Van

Keeping my sanity over winter

Good Morning i hope life is treating you well

Over winter I can get a bit frustrated, not getting out for morning Photo walks, or even getting out to potter around in our back yard during the day.
and I decided to try a hobby to keep me busy and my mond occupied and ended up ordering a brick kit off Amazon, its very much like Lego but froma company called Funwhole, yeah I know perhaps its a weird name for a brick building seyt company, but other looking online and reading the positive reviews I decided to give it a go, so I will talk a little bit about my experience with this kit today

Starting with a shot of the finished build

And here is the box it came in, I started with a small set just 496 Pieces but it looked cool to me

Opening the box you see all the prepackaged bags with the blocks in I will admit even though I knew it was only 496 pieces it did look a lot when I opened it

and it comes with a good instructions guide, well printed and very clear I had no problem at all following the instructions

and the finished kit with the lights on.

Yes Funwhole kits come with lighting kits, that and the positive reviews of both the kits and the support from the company were big factors in why I went for this kit, plus they are cheaper than Lego kits to buy

Now my final thoughts on the kit

as I said the instructions were very clear, the blocks and pieces are good quality and building it was such fun.
In fact my wife ordered some dot painting kitsthere are little dots of various colors and a canvas which is stick with the patterns layed out sayign which color goes where so she sits at one end of our dining table doing her art and I work on these.

and yes I said these, I loved building this and the details they include are real cool, I will do another post tomorrow showing some of the cool details closer in, that I have ordered a few more kits to build.
So bottom line if your into building Lego liek kits I would recommend checking out Funwhole

And that’s all folks

unless stated otherwise all photos used in my posts are taken and owned by myself, if you wish to use any of my images please contact me.

Wow, that is so cool. I love the fact that they have lighting kits like that. The quality seems pretty decent too. Maybe not quite as tight as a Lego set, but for the reduced price, I don't think anyone would complain!

Its been a long while since i did lego, but the quality of the bricks seem to me on a par with Lego, I have seen some reviews from people who are avid Lego builders saying the same

That is cool. I know that the price of Legos are kind of ridiculous these days, so if the quality is just as good then that's a great alternative.

Very cool 👍 I love Legos but had not heard of Funwhole. I like the idea of doing builds in the winter. Kind of like puzzles but more fun 🙂

That’s cool they ship the missing piece… it would drive me nuts knowing something is missing haha
Great, looking forward to it.
I used to build some too, but that’s long ago. It keeps one busy.

Designer is my hobby. I was given a huge Harry Potter castle for my birthday, which I cut in half. The entire constructor weighs 23 kilograms)

I like building legos... I find it helps to de-stress. I didn't know this brand.

You've found some great fun!
My children, grandchildren, and I have already assembled many similar structures. The largest Lego building was 2 houses. I built them with my youngest daughter. But I remember buying 1 small Lego set for my eldest son. It was in the 90s of the last century. Legos were expensive in our country then and we didn't have much money then.

Do you want to kill time? Collect the puzzles!

I am having fun doing them, I have seen the puzzles, but for now will continue with the town life themed buildings :)

I have never heard of this brand, the finished truck does look more realistic than lego.

That's a nice set! It's always fun to build with blocks like LEGO. I sounds like there are some competitors out there to LEGO's dominance. You definitely get addicted to building these things, they're a lo of fun!

Yeah was a good set to get started, Legos dominance as the big name is probably safe, but a few brands giving them a run for their money, this company for sure the detsails and lights are amazing i have seen a few Lego fans who have started building these kits
