Fun Friday the Old West Train Station
Fun Friday the Old West Train Station
Another Friday have a good day and weekend, and sharing another one of my Sets, this one is the Funwhole/lumibricks Old West Train Station
I normally start these posts with a full shot of the build but decided to mix it up this week and start with some of the details
I am really enjoying the Old west sets and the train station was no exception, it has 1974 Pieces
Here is its inspiration story
It was a long wait. The outlaw waited for his comrade to blow up the tracks, steal the tycoons chest and live free
The Lady Passenger waited for the train to take her to her sweetheart.
The Old prospectore waited for a future full of opportunities.
Under the train station eaves the story unfolded
Now the story mentions the dynamtire and blowing up the tracks, but that isnt actually in this set it comes with the train itself which will be another post
Heres a couple of the characters can you guess or who do you think they are
I really enjoyed this build, well to be honets lovign allthe build sinthe old west series, the details and lighting are awesome

Very nice! It looks like they did a good job scaling the rail tracks to the size of the figures too. Lego was never great at that.
Yeah I do remember that with lego way back when I did it
The details are pretty good on that set. I like it!
Thanks kindly your support is appreciated
Have a great day
Very cool build 👍 I like the back stories on the passengers waiting for the train. Its always fun to people watch and guess their stories
Even thought i share the back stories in my post as I build the sets and characters I tend to make up my own stories
Lovely shots, with all the details in exposure.

The detail on Legos has come a long way since I was a kid.
!pimp
OHh yeah for me as well, I havent built a lego set recently so not sure how the details on them are but this company really does well with the details
Oh, and here I thought this was going to be about one of the new Fall River or New Bedford train stations! I was thinking of trying one of them out for my commute but it would make my drive much longer, so curiosity hasn't won out yet.
I bet you can make your Lego trains run on a much tighter schedule than the T, in any case.
Funnily enough I considered swign by the Station this morning to get some shots of the station and T train, but ended up going to the port maybe another day
I have considered doign a day trip to boston, but with all the cancellations I have read about may hold off on that for a bit
The weekend pass for $10 isn't a bad deal, and I think it might be free until the end of the month. There have been a few cancelled trains coming home on Saturday; I usually just go for a walk and catch the next one (rather than settling for a bus).
If it were a once-in-a-while trip it would just be kind of funny and a little inconvenient. It's the frequency of the delays when you're commuting full time that make it so painful.
You'll soon have a whole Western town... I hope you have room to display it all 😀
Have a great weekend
I have finished all the current wester sets and they fill up one of the 6 shelves i put up for them :)
They sure have an eye for details in those sets, they're great! How long does it take you to put one of those together? Looks like a bit of a project, I know some LEGO ones have taken me a few hours with some of their lousy instructions!
They sure do the details and lights well, depends onthe set and how much time I allow for it, havent really kept track of the hours, but for this one i am guessign maybe 6 or so hours actuall time building
