Fun Friday the Old West Train

Fun Friday the Old West Train

Good Morning, day evening or night depending on when you read this

Today I continue my fFriday fun posts with another Funwhole ( soon to be Lumibricks) set the Old West train station, a fun build indeed and was a natural to do after I built the trains tation which I shared last week.

The Inspiration for the set from the manual
IT was their Final Hurrah Fore callin it quits
A grand heist to relieve the train of the wealthy Tycoons treasure. Bandit bill and his posse once the undisputed rulers of the west, were now the most wnated men, scattered tot he winds in the chase.
Bandit Bill impatient and desperate, decided to go it alone. The train thundered down the tracks, and in the distance he spied the familiar silhoettes of cowbow aboard, Would bandit Bill pull it off.

I guess he didnt as these photos show the train is in good shape

It is a medium size build with 1524 Peices and was a fun build some cool details and I am glad to report printed tiles and not stickers

Although I have done fairly OK with the sets with stickers I much prefer the sets with the time sprinted and no stickers myself.

and if interested in checking the sets out here is my referral link If https://www.funwhole.com/?ref=hjcvbpac
Lets start with a shot of the train

NOw you may have noticed the roof on the caboose isnt sittign on properly, that must have been when I moved it tot he table to take the photos and I didnt notice, I did notice it when I set it up where it is in display in front of the train station and out the roof on properly, wish I had noticed it when taking the photos but ohh well here it is with a few of the minifigs

I do love hte minifigs that come with most of the sets such interesting characters
At the time this set was my favorite, but the set I am working on now has some awesome characters but will get to that when I share photos of that build

Hello Mr. @tattoodjay, good morning.

It must have been a lot of fun putting together these more than 1,500 pieces. It really turned out beautiful. I'm glad you noticed the roof wasn't properly assembled.

Beautiful shots, a wonderful, very fun activity.

Have a great day.

I love the water coming down out of the spout. That is pretty awesome. They have some really unique and interesting pieces in these sets. I'd almost say that's one thing they seem to do better than Lego.

I thought that was such a cool detail as well and yes I think they do details so much better than lego and then with the lighting even better

Nice build 👍 I love the lighting and details in these kits. The water coming out of the spout on the water tower 😆 I was in a small town in Vermont this week. The train station was converted into a general store/deli. Cool by itself but they also had old photos of the trains! I'm always surprised by how long they ran steam engines - all the way into the 1960s

Very cool set. I like both the characters and the main draw. There's not many things that would get me to complete a set but this one would be one of them. I love me some old steam engines!

What cool details! The smoke coming out of the stack is a nice touch. The characters are awesome, and the trains details put LEGO to shame. You sure found a winner in Funwhole! I think they may give LEGO a run for the money with the adult markets. Great job on the build!

Yes I think they may well give Lego a run for the money, they do details and lighting so well

Very beautiful, my friend. This is a great combination of passions. You took some very beautiful photos, and my favorite is where the light shines in the background like stars. Thank you so much for sharing. I hope all goes well. With strength, vigor, and optimism, hugs!
