Fun Friday some light painting

Fun Friday some light painting

Have a good day the work week is almost over and enjoy the weekend ahead

Today I will share some light painting shots, alas not new ones, its still to cold for me at and before sunrise for me to be heading out for walks, i made a promise a couple of years ago to my wife after getting ick a few times going out when its cold, due to my lung damage after havign TB many years ago I think, i promised I would only go out for walks if the real feel temp is 45F or higher, and havent had a sunrise warmer than freezing point ie 32F yet, but hopefulyl soon

So what is light painting let me try to explain, actually let me cheat and copy and paste how I explained it in a previous post and was happy with it lOL

Light painting is basically photography’s rebellious cousin who skipped art school and went straight to rave school. Instead of brushes and canvas, you use flashlights, sparklers, glow sticks, or anything that creates light
You set your camera on a tripod, open the shutter for a few seconds or minutes, and then whoosh, you draw in the air with light. The camera sees all the glowing trails and goes, “Oh, cool, I’ll just record that like it’s normal.” And voilà—you’ve got a photo that hopefully you think is cool .

It’s like finger painting, but for grown-ups who still believe in magic or for grown ups who are still kids at art and like to have fun.

Or possibly more likely in my case, for someone like me with no artistic ability who thinks doing these is perhaps the best art I will ever do lOL

I know I have said sometime I will share photos of the gear i use, and I will but there still packed up in a box till it arms up, but when I get them out and into the car I will tke some shots and perhaps even do a video of me light painting which may explain it better

This first one is by Popes Island Marina

I am glad last year I did lots of light painting so I still have some I think are OK to share now

and trust me for every one I think is OK and share there are probably 3 or more, probably more that were failures

THis was borderline whether to share or ot but I think its clear what I tried to spell

NOw this next one, was when I was having some issues with settings on both the camera and the torch, and did this just as a test but I kind of like it

What a wonderful lighting! As if from the future. Although why from the future? It's already real. I love this decor!

Good day, Mr. @tattoodjay

You're doing the right thing by taking care of yourself and staying home on very cold days; health is paramount.

I love what you do in your photographs; the lighting looks beautiful.

Your photographs are beautiful.

Haha how much fun are these?! The colours are just awesome but imagining the running and twirling to make these happen is just as entertaining! Awesome how the Hive one turned out too.

Solid fun!
