Fun Friday another Funwhole build the balcony theatre
Good Morning, another work week draws to a close, well for many not for me being retired so not sure why I felt the need to start with that LOL
Sticking with my Fun Friday theme and sharing the funwhole sets I am building, I know these posts are perhaps not as popular as my photography posts, but i am enjoying building these and will keep sharign them on here.
This week I am sharign some shots of the Balcony theatre
its a fairly big set with 2445 Pieces, but was such a fun build, and as always with these kits such awesoem details and super cool ighting
Heres a shot of the building, I tried to make it looks somewhat like it was in a street and I guess I was happy with this edit at the time, but as I am preparing this post not so happy looks so fake but here it is anyway

Some people do not like the Minifigs for a couple of reasons, they cant very easily be put sittign down somewhere on the build, and they are a bit of a pain to put together especially putting the hands on to the arms, but havent done quite a few of them now i have found a way of putting onthe hands that works for me and I persoanlly think they are so cool,
this pair actually came with skirts you could put on

Those post might not be as popular as the others, but what really matters is that you enjoyed the process! Such a great work 👏🏻
Thats exactly how I feel, its something i enjoy so i'm going to share :)
That's pretty cool. I can see why people would feel that way about the mini figs. I'm glad you found a way to get them together more easily. How did the scan go yesterday? Hopefully you don't have to wait until next week for the results!
The xray shows the joints in my shoulder look fine, which I guess I am lucky after having dislocated my shoulders a few times when i was younger,
so its probably frozen shoulder
Ah tales of retirement!
I can’t imagine that myself as it seems like such a far away goal but is suppose it must happen at some point. When it does, I envision myself having time to pursue some of these cool hobbies. The detail in that set is amazing and it must take some artistic patience to get it all together.
Are you building a whole town?
I was at that stage, but then suddenly its gettign closer and closer
I am building a few towns LOL
Up in my PC room I have two sets town life which this theatre is part of, and a set they call street fusion
and today I hope to install some shelves int he basement, which will hold the retro house and western series ;)
Talk about great details. That is an awesome build. You have to put the hands on manually? LEGO they come pre-attached. Funwhole looks like fun to build though, are they more expensive that LEGO?
yes people who have done a lot of lego get frustrated with these minifigs but i am growing to liek them the hands are a pain but other than that they are great
and no they are a lot cheaper than similar lego sets with the same amount of pieces, plus the bones the lights are included, for ego sets you have to but third party for the lights
Nice building full of details... Have a great weekend
