East beach at sunrise
These photos I had edited and exported into my "yet to Post" folder quite a while back, probably with the idea to share them as a Wednesday Walk post , but then I got out for other walks and didn't share them, now with the winter upon us and it getting cooler and me not getting out for many walks is a good time to share them.
East beach is nice good sized Beach here in New Bedford, very popular in the warmer months, I have driven by in the middle of a nice warm summers day and seen the beach packed with people, but i avoid going there at those times as A. I don't like crowded places and B, I tend to not be out in the bright sun during the day much, I have had a lot of skin Cancer removed, so staying out of the bright sun and reducing the chance or more skin damage seems a good idea to me.
I id a post the other day about Lifeguard towers and starting this post with one, but don't worry its the only one in this post

Now strictly speaking this is a small park just beside East Beach, but whenever I go for a morning walk on this beach I tend to continue on and walk this park as well

Magnificent lighting captured on each, early morning walks taking time to go through one of many you must have stored for the colder days.

Thanks and yes, during the warmer months I got many walks in and have plenty yet to edit and share which will get me through thee winter when I do not walk much
Going down memory lane with photos, brings back warm sunshine rising touching the morning sky, good way to spend time when too cold to get outdoors.
Ohh yes indeed exactly how I feel looking through my photos
I find extreme pleasure going through previous especially at the moment, no wandering as much as previously.

with the temps dropping here may be a while till I get out for new walks, but luckily i have many walks from the warmer months i have yet to edit and share
I totally understand. I hope you have a great 2024 too. My wife and I have been talking about getting a treadmill, so that might keep us mobile during the winter. Taking photos of the wall doesn't make for great Wednesday Walk posts though!
speaking of treadmills, I have a plus cardiac stress test on the 19th to see if I get cleared for the surgery on the 29th, another reason for me to be sensible and not go out in the cold
I am using a quest headset and a fitness app to do workouts on the mornings i dont walk and doing well on it and enjoying it
That is great! I have heard it is a good way to get some exercise!
it sure works for me, I like the app I use it shows different scenic 360 views for each song of the workout, far better than looking at a wall on a treadmill LOL
It sounds pretty amazing!
it is and keeps me motivated to work out on the days i do not get walks in
