Early morning at Heritage State Park fall River MA

Early morning at Heritage State Park Fall River MA

Good Morning, again digging into my archives, as I havent got out for any photo walks recently mostly due to it being to cold for me, and I have also been slack with not getting down to the basement to try some of the creative isead for photos I have in mind, I really need to get myselgf and motivated and do that, mind you for the last couple of weeks we have bene visiting our daughter in Law each day, for a couple of hours so that has taken away time for photos or thats my excuse and I am stickign to it

Fall River Heritage State Park is a history-themed public recreation area with a waterfront boardwalk, a visitor center, and views of historic naval ships at Battleship Cove. It is managed by the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation

The boardwalk is part of the larger Bicentennial Trail, which is 2.2 miles long as an out-and-back trail (1.1 miles one way). Some sources also refer to the entire path as a "mile-long" boardwalk.
The entire trail runs along the Taunton River, connecting Fall River Heritage State Park with Veterans Memorial Bicentennial Park, and offers scenic views of Battleship Cove and the Braga Bridge. The surface is a mix of paved path and elevated boardwalk, and is popular for walking, running, and biking.

Lets start with this shot the boardwalk runs beside the water off to the left of this shot

It is really a nice spot for walking, often when I get there early well before sunrise I have it all to myself but as it gets closer to and around sunrise lots of walkers and joggers appear
I sometimes do not walk the full mile or so of the boardwalk, depending on what the light is like, this morning we got some nice colors so this is about as far as I went that morning

The view that morning was truly beautiful. The sun rose early and the still-dark blue clouds looked so cool and extraordinary.

Some great early morning pics Jay. Being a former military man, I especially appreciate the ones with the Navy ships.

Awesome! Well your service is appreciated. Did you ever spend time on the navy ships at all? I did some sea time on them in the Marines.
