At the end of Gifford Street

At the end of Gifford Street

Good Morning, day, evening or night depending on when you read this I hope all is well with you

Today I will share a few shots, of walks I have taken parking at the end of Gifford Street here in New Bedford, all except the first shot are pretty recent.

I think that morning was the last time I did some light painting, with the sun rising now at about 5:07 AM, and even thought I wake early around 4AM most days, sometimes earlier,by the time I get dressed, load up my camera gear and head out to a spot, its not dark enough to do much light painting, so till the days start getting shorter and the sun rise a bit later I have packe dup my light painting gear for the moment.
That said today I was wide awake by 3:30, and probably now that I think about it could have headed out to do some light painting, but already had my camera bag packed as I do and have it downstairs by the door to the garage, and didnt want to make noirly and wake my wife, so just chilled for half an hour and headed out at 4

This one I too just walking around a bit from where i had parked near the boat ramp, and along side the Hurricane Barrier wall, this road is past a gate which is locked the only people who drive on it are those that work in the building that controls the gate that closed to join this hurricane barrier wall with the one on the Fairhaven side, lets hope this hurricane season we do not see many or any hurricanes here and there is no need for the gates to be closed.

Now I am by the boat ramp it is off to the left of this shot, this boat has been sitting here for a few weeks now, this morning I took a shot of it with some warm color sof sunris eon the horizon

I wonder how long it will stay there, or if they will get it out on the water soon

This is is looking across at the Vineyard Wind site here in New Bedford where they construct the towers for Wind Turbines, for many a controversial faciity with people on both sides of the argument very opiniated on the need or lack of need for wind turbines, I wont give my thoughts other than to say I think it makes for a cool photo

You're up really early... I like to sleep too much to enjoy the beautiful colors of the sunrise. But luckily you're here, and I'm admiring your photos 😀
Have a great day
