Art in Wings Court and Happy New Year
Let me start by wishign everyone a Happy New Year, may it be a wonderful one for each and everyone of you
Not really new Year themed with the photos, not sure why I said not really I should say not at all New Year themed LOL
But I am sharing a few shots of a walk I took through Wings Court in downtown New Bedford.
ITs a cool little spot with benches for people to sit and a place they allow local artists to add some art to the walls there.
I used to often walk through it when I went for a stroll in the Historic district early morning, I would swing through this area after the sunrise when there was some better light and see what new art had been added, but I guess for security reasons the gates to this area were locked every time i went by there this year in the early morning, so these shots are from one of the two times I had to do something downtown and checked out the area during the day.

Do you ever get the feeling your being watched?
hard to not to in Wings court with this in one of the windows
Speaking of feeling you're being watched, I think I have a good sense for that. I always seem to know if someone is looking ta me for more than a passing glance, not in a paranoid sort of way, just a gut feeling I get.
It came in handy many years ago, well, almost three decades ago, when I think about it, I got asked to take over the leadership oversight of the PX store in the mission I was in, and then got offered kick backs to just let things go and be a figurehead not actually look at how things work, well me being my thta made me suspicious and I discovered some shady deals going on, so i implented a new Inventory management system and replaced a couple fof people in senior positions and they were not happy, and i got warned they were out to get me.
Fortunately my sense of knowing when i was being watched allowed me to go into stealth mode and change my routines and kept myself safe till the government and mission leadership heard about it and moved me out of the country quickly for my safety
Now you may quite fairly think I was being paranoid, but trust me I wasnt, two days after i let the first person go from the PX, I got nack to the bordering house I had moved into to find a knife stuck in the door and a badly written note warning me to stop and put things back or else....
I wont go into more details but shall I say it was an exciting time lOL
