a few recent Mono shots

a few recent Mono shots

Good Morning, another work week begins and may it be a good one for you all

As I do on Mondays I am sharing a few Mono shots today all from recent walks, the last few days i havent bene out walking been busy with appointments or ther weather has not been cooperating either very windy or rainy for a lot of the time, well it seems especially when I have time to get out for a walk, but hopefully some nice days ahead

Lets start with a shot of Emily from the other day, maybe i am just imagining it but she looked sad and lonely to me, a few months bag the other Asian elphant at the Zoo Ruth passed away and not its just Emily

a little bit about her

Emily, a remarkable 60-year-old Asian elephant, has been inspiring generations for the past 56 years at the Buttonwood Park ZOO! She weighs approximately 8,000 pounds and enjoys a daily diet consisting of around 75 pounds of hay, 10 pounds of grain, 10 pounds of produce, and 15 to 50 pounds of browse (such as maple and bamboo). Emily’s favorite treats include alfalfa cubes, dried fruit, watermelon, and sugar cane

Nice shots at the zoo! It really is amazing just how much elephants need to eat daily to stay alive. It sounds like she is well cared for there, and is doing well for her advanced age. The bison shot was great too, it came out fantastic in mono. I love how you tweaked the color on the Harbor Walkway, that came out perfect! Some nice images all around today!

Wow! Great mono shots! It feels so peaceful at the port. Nice to see it in black and white. It seems like I'm going back in the past. Also Emily, it is interesting to see a 60 year old asian elephant. I want to see more photographs from you.
