I've seen a group of people being dependent to our government, they are the P's in my country. For example, it happened with dengvaxia vaccine, they are the lab rats of the country, they're the first to receive those vaccines. Guess what, most of them dies a few years later, their bodies was submitted to forensics for further studies and find out the there demise is connected to the test vaccine.

However, there is also a good privileges for government dependents. Monthly they receive allowance, free healthcare, free lawyers and etc.

But answering your question, if I do personally like being dependent upon the government. My answer is "NO".

All but a few jobs have gone, replaced by AI. If there is no UBI, where will the money come from to buy food, shelter, etc? Let alone the widgets that are now being made by AI?

"Prompt writing" will also be replaced by AI, as the tools themselves get better and because they already CAN write prompts (most textual "AI" tools are essentially autocomplete on steroids)

What makes you think that all governments will be there? Where will they get their money from? Have you seen how politics enters? Are you sure you are on the proper side of things to get the UBI?

Governments are noted for their corruption. So you are willing to put your faith in them?

So given that our jobs won't exist, where will we get food and shelter?

We won't be able to grow our food because we won't be able to afford to own, rent, or defend property.
