LeoGlossary: The Epitome Of Pageviews
Over the past year, a lot of time went into developing LeoGlossary. This was designed to benefit the Leofinance community. Unfortunately, many simply shrugged it off, ignoring the implications.
To start this article, it has to be pointed out that we are all marketers of our content. The idea is to get people to see what we created. This will, in turn, drive traffic to Leofinance and what we post.
The LeoAds projects was discussed for more than year. I believe it was first writen about in February of 2022. This means we had around 16 months warning.
What do these two have to do with each other?
It is a simple answer: pageviews.
LeoGlossary is the epitome of pageviews.
Reference Center
In the past we discussed how the goal for LeoGlossary was multi-faceted. One of the keys was to create internal links (a boatload of links). We also were seeking to enhance the articles each person wrote as a way of providing more information to the reader.
Of course, all of this was done in an effort to drive traffic. That said, there are limitations since that is dependent upon a number of variables including the SEO of the site itself. Nevertheless, we do what we can.
Now we are starting to see things come together with LeoAds. Yet, all along, LeoGlossary was the epicenter for this.
At this moment, there is not a counter on long form content. That will be added shortly. This is something that is going to radically alter the impact of LeoGlossary pages.
In short, it is a reference center that people can return to. Each time a Lion is writing an article and decides to add a link, the page gets opened. That is how we can pull it up. Actually, if you go to the main menu of LeoGlossary, you can link from there to most of the database.
What this does is provides pageviews. As the writer is opening pages to link, that is adding to the total. This is one area where we can see this having an impact.
Remember, pageviews are key for ads. This is the most natural of traffic. We simply are bounding around, not gaming the system like some already tried to do.
Another factor is the articles already written. To illustrate, I will use this article about Hive Bonds: The Collateral The World Needs.
In running this article through a backlink counter, there are 62 links in this article. Almost all of them are to LeoGlossary content. This means, there are 62 chances that someone reading it could click on another link.
Is that guaranteed? Of course not. However, if these article is put out on social media or ends up ranking in Google, we could see more views coming in that way.
In other words, it becomes a numbers game.
Page Counts Go Higher
The fact this is a reference center means the page counts will only keep going higher. It is one thing to have an article that is popular for a short time then disappears. This changes entirely when people are using the resource on a daily basis.
Just think of the places you can post this. In fact, it doesn't require much creativity to put this in front of people.
Have you ever seen anyone ask about Hive, Leofinance, or cryptocurrency? How about these links:
Each of these pages is full of information and links to other pages. And guess what they all have in common: they are all Leofinance pages.
There is also a glossary for Splinterlands called SplinterGlossary.
You will notice at the very end of my post it says "What is Hive". That is a page that discusses the different aspects of Hive complete with all over 100 links. It is a major resource for anyone looking for information on what this ecosystem is.
Do you see now why these links are so important? How would things look if, for the past 6 months, 75 or 100 articles per day that werecreated on Leofinance contained LeoGlossary links in them? How many opportunities would that present for people to click through to get other information?
Were you doing your part?
Ultimately, these are going to generate thousands of pageviews each. Over the next couple years, people will be visiting them on a daily basis, expanding the number of times each page is viewed. The article linked above has 62 links. That means to do the linking, over 60 pages were opened before the article was even published.
Like everything with Leofinance, it is all an ongoing process. There are no magic bullets. The success of this platform depends upon a lot of activity from many different people. We all would love to have that one article or page that gets 1 million views because it ranks on the top of Google for a term like blockchain. Well, if we are realistic, that isn't likely to happen.
Thus, we have to take another approach. Our role is to create as many different pathways to Leofinance as possible. Since LeoAds is dependent upon page views, incorporating LeoGlossary into what you do is vital.
After all, this is going to be the epitome of pageviews.
We will see that when the counters are added.

Everything you mention regarding LeoGlossary and the effect of internal links in our posts to LeoGlossary terms is really very interesting. It has a direct impact on LeoFinance's SEO, because it's all about internal link building and it's something we need to pay close attention to.
I have put links to LeoGlossary many times in my publications, but I admit that I almost never do it, so I will try to be more active and focused in that regard.
However, I do think that LeoFinance articles can rank at the top of Google searches if things are done correctly. And this implies, not only the construction of internal links, but external ones. It is not easy, and it requires a deep study by a team that who study the best sites with the best "link juice" to link LeoFinance posts without falling into spam. But it would be well worth doing all of this, because that would strengthen LeoFinance both in terms of OnPage SEO and Offpage SEO.
It is not simple, it is not easy, but it is possible. It will be up to us, the users of LeoFinance, to make all this probable.
