RE: [ENG/ITA] Splinterlands: Should I Go Full SPS?

Well, for me the downside of that is you will have no cards to play with (OK you can rent as you have DEC cashflow from renting your SPS) and you will be selling your cards at very low prices, probably a lot less that you paid for them, but it is definitely a strategy and I can see the attractiveness of 20% return on SPS and the potential for SPS to increase

I'm taking the opposite approach. I too was a Gold player with an additional account to rent out cads, so I bought cards to play with and cards to rent.

When the leagues went away and the rental market tanked, I consolidated my cards and bought more to lvl them up. I did add some fresh money and picked up very strong Untamed cards very cheaply.

I recently moved some money about on Hive and bought more SPS, not to rent but to increase my earnings.

I think SPS has potential to increase and I don't want to sell my cards at a big loss, for the the answer was , keep playing add more SPS and earn more SPS and Glint to get the new reward cards to max before they rotate out

My biggest concern is that I don't have any more the time (and the will) to keep playing, so if I hold my card the best I can do with them is to rent them, but most of them have rental prices which are ridiculously low, hence my idea to sell them and enjoy a much higher APR with SPS.

But I fully get your points and, if I could keep playing, I have no doubt that I would have tried to follow a path very similar to yours.

At this point my only big advantage is that I was lucky enough not to overpay my cards, so even at today low prices I can sell them without taking any major loss.

SPS are also at a very low price, so selling the cards at a low price to buy SPS at a (hopefully) low price and, after that, enjoy a passive income of DEC (which, as you noticed, I can later use to rent cards if I ever want to play some matches again) looked like an appealing idea.

An alternative I can think of is only selling those cards which have vary bad rental prices, keep the ones that can be rented easily and for a good ROI (i.e. Rebellion cards) and use the funds to buy more rentable cards and SPS...

It's always so hard to make a choice 😅 but I really appreciate your point of view! !LUV

Yes, the rental market is very bad right now, it's a pity it would have been a good option if it was viable.

I guess time is the one thing that rules all in the end :-)
