Wild Format In Splinterlnads Becomes Alive Again

Hello, my lovely friends in the Splinterverse.

I hope every one of you is having a great time in the Splinterlands. The Splinterlands is getting more excitement now as the new card edition, Conclave Arcana, a new set of core cards, is released, and players are enjoying the new strategy, and new excitement is at its fullest in the sphere. As an old player, I am also very excited about the new card edition, and I am also preparing for the new card edition. As my participation in the "Splinterlands Community Engagement Challenge", I am writing this article about the🌿 Free Season of Wild. As the general sale for Conclave Arcana has begun, and I am going to share my thoughts, hopes, and plans regarding the wild format meantime, when I will buy the new cards for the modern format. I hope you will get some new aspects of the wild format battle after reading this blog, which I will try to focus on.

Finally, the waiting time is over; many players have been waiting for this new card edition: the Conclave Arcana presale has started already! I've been playing Splinterlands for several years. I observe that the card editions are now more successful after the flooded cards and packs from the CL edition, due to the proper modern format requirements and revised game economy. But still I am slower than that time, as I have made a bigger loss with my cards last time. But it is also very exciting that, like finding a treasure chest full of endless possibilities, these new cards will bring new tactics to try, beautiful art to collect, and new stories to read from their lore.

Many players like me haven't bought a ton of packs from the Conclave Arcana, as I am planning for specific cards from this edition. And also, the survival mode is temporarily suspended until a new revised edition is introduced. So, for the initial preparation and finding out the best cards for the modern format, Splinterlands has offered a free wild format pass that costs 2000 DEC. But unfortunately, the rewards in the wild format are very low as I get around 0.35 SPS around the rating of 1600+. Whereas I am getting around 2.5 SPS per win at the rating of 2000 in the modern format, with the staked SPS of 33 K.

But instead of the lower SPS reward per win, the GLINT token bonus is quite similar to it is in the modern format, which is a good thing to get the benefits if your decks are not so strong in the modern format. Moreover, it is a rewarding feeling to have the experience of playing with some of the old cards that I have not played for a long time. So, in terms of this, the opportunity is good for the players who can check the new cards to test their capability in the age-old meta from all the editions that Splinterlands has ever had.

In the meantime, I want to share another pull of Legendary card from the Gladius packs. As you must know the gladiator collections is the hardest collections to grow in the Splinterlands, though after the introduction of glint tokens and listing in the glint shop, the process has been made faster but for small player, it is still quite challenging to have gladiators at the max level, especially the legendaries and epics!

Alongside the wild format, I am also playing the modern format with some lending cards from the modern format, which is quite difficult as my most max cards are from the Chaos Legion edition, which has been removed from the modern format now. So, I am playing the wild format for grabbing more glint tokens as it is quit easier for my decks to have more winning ration in the modern league currently.
