Trying Pakistani Restaurant

It is very difficult for a foodie person like me to loose weight, after several times of diet controllong measures, I failed and so I have almost stopped thinking about loosing weight; consequently I have touched 72 kg that I have measured after filling my stomach with such delicious dishes in the nearest Pakistani restaurant in the Huairou area.

It is after a couple of years that I have visited the Pakistani Restaurant name as 'Masala Pakistan Rrstauy' with a standard number of items in a Chinese city area where it is very difficult to find some foreigners. So, I have enjoyed these delicoous items that me and my Pakistani friend chosen for our today's dinner.

We went to the city area for taking our passports from the Visa office as we had applied for extension last week. Then we went to bank for some work and made the plan to have our dinner to the Pakistani restaurant as it was almost the dinner time.

This is the first choice for us known as the 'Chicken Kadahi' that is cooked chicken with tomato and an amazing collection of many spices to make the delivious paste that is a perfect combination of vatious kind of 'Nan'. We have another choice here is the 'Butter Chicken' but we prefer Kadahi as we were only two of us to share the meal.

There are many kinds of 'Nan' in Bangladesh, Pakistan, and India as we all have quite similar dishes. This nan is known as the 'Butter Nan' that has a topping with butter to make it a bittery taste. We have also ordered the 'Garlic Nan' which was more delicious today in our taste today that made to do second order of Garlic Nans. There were no other nain the today's menue.

This is a symbolic dish of Pakistani biriyani that is my favorite though this version is less spicy and sweet flavors with less spicy flavour compare to Bangladeshi Chicken Biriyani. Also, there are a dozens of Biriyani in this region of the world. And for having the life-long habit of rice as the main staple food, a Bangladeshi like me alwaya prefer rice-based recipes.

We have tried to find some 'Kebab' but unfortunately we didn’t find but got only this kind of Chicken kebab as only kebab item, so e had to order it. We have usually so many kinds of Kebab, in Bangladesh, Pakistan or India; there are some live kebab station in many restaurant in Dhaka, Bangladesh. So we love kebab, but unluckily today's kebab was not up to the mark, and I will rate it with the lowest mark among all the diahes we ordered today.

For two people, these were more than enough for the dinner, and finally we were able to finish all as wasting food ia not a good idea in this world where a lot of people are suffering too much from hunger.

We haven’t ordered any drinks as Muslims, we don't drink and for soft drinks, those were 3/4 times expensive ; and we had some bottle water with us and we avoided the soft drinks.

The restaurant was almost empty as we were there a little bit earlier than the usual time but I notice that relatively less poeple are interested here for different fooda and the price level is also very high than the common Chinese Restaurants.

All of our items were expensive if we compare with the local foods. Today our total cost was around 200 RMB, that is almost $28.00 which is a huge amount fo common people as people in China are used to take meals in restaurant than at home.

Our next target is to visit the new branch of the Pakistani restaurant in Huairou district near the Gteat Wall scenic area which is much bigger with more items.

Thank you so much for your time nd attention to read my article. I hope to catch you in my next blog.

Have a nice day!

I know some foodie persons who have lost weight but they are always mindful about what they eat. The majority of them eat things that have low cholesterol

Hassan!
Biriyani is a delicious food representing India and is famous in East Asia!

Naan is a delicious food representing India and is famous in East Asia!

But, I haven't eaten either dish yet!😄
I wonder what taste it?

Food from the Indian subcontinent is said to be good for health.
Do you agree with?😉

None of these from India, these are Persian foods brought during the Muslim Emperors ruling for 600 years. Currently, Bangladesh, India, and Pakistan have different version ofiriyani but nan are 90% same everywhere. And among all the biriyani, Old Dhaka's Kacchi biriyani is the most rice-based food in the world, it is a slow cooked muttoon with rice with intensed flavor, my favorite also, not so spicy so anyone can enjoy!
Thanks for your comment with some beautiful videos.

Hassan!

It's amazing that they are all Persian food!😦

Is curry a unique Indian food?

Do you think you are of the Aryan race?😀

Curry is an authentic Bengali food, In other parts of India they don't like fish at all due to religious facts and meat also due to the vegetarian community, but Bangladesh and Kolkata are famous for curry-type foods. But India has a diverse cooking tradition and varieties in different parts of India. Even for curry, there are many variations in Bangladesh we love spicy (chili) but in many other parts they don't like spicy foods, they prefer 'chatni' a kind of sour 'fruit achar', and many kinds of them, some region prefer dry types foods, many many food culture that you can't get anywhere in the world!

I don't know about the Aryan race!

Hassan!
I was surprised to learn that curry is a Bengali food. In East Asia, curry is known as Indian food.
I was amazed at the diversity of countries, race, peoples and cultures in the Indian subcontinent.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aryan

I remember that the civilizations of the Indian subcontinent were built by a mixture of Aryan and Dravidian peoples.

I assumed you were Aryan.

Do you consider yourself Bengali?😃

Hassan!
This was the first time I heard of the Bengali race.

East Asians understand Bangladesh and Pakistan as Aryan, and India as a mixture of Aryan and Dravidian.

Your argument is amazing! 😃

I have very little knowledge regarding these issues, but it is true we are not pure, the Dravidian and Aryan both were invaders, while there were some Chondal and local people before them and we mixed together and now we are Bengali!
I have no interest in finding my roots, these are valueless in my thoughts, also Islam doesn't divide or evaluate a man on his race, color, origin, incapability, rich or poor, these are meaningless as a humankind. But many nations are divided on these valueless arguments to prove themselves better than others, I am really irritated by such talking!

If u want, you can buy any nft from nftshowroom. Trust me, the green tick of nft on peakd.com in front of your profile looks cool. Some good quality nfts can cost as less as 5 hive too although ofcourse 100 hive nfts would much cooler.

For example, @thekittygirl nft is from nftshowroom. It looks cool.
