The last Snowfall Of The Year

Usually, March is quite a warm month in Beijing, China, and most snowfall happens in the month of February. But this year is also a different year without much snowfall, though it was more than last year, when I found snowfall for once, and that was not so heavy. Though I found a heavier one a couple of months ago, February was completely free of any snowfall, and a last snowfall occurred last week in the warmer month of March with quite heavy snow. I measured with my finger and found almost 2 cm of snow on the sitting arrangement outside my institute.

As it was quite a warm day, the snow was very wet, and when you touch it, you can feel the cold water melting from the ice instantly. So, people were not happy with the late snowfall, but the roads were wet, and the surroundings were amazingly beautiful at night when the temperature reached zero, and the snowfall also increased with proper snowfall vibes in the area. As it was on my workday, I had not been outside but saw the beautiful scenes during the snowfall around 10 pm when I was returning to my dormitory from my work.

The whole yard of the institute is covered with white snow, and the trees are covered with white snow, and the plants nearby with green leaves have also turned white with the snow. I was thinking of sliding on the basketball court, but I found it was very risky as the snow was melting so fast. So, I skipped my plan and returned to the dormitory and enjoyed the surrounding scenes of the institute during the snowfall.

I hope you enjoy my photos of my institute after a heavy snowfall at night, with the white snow colour everywhere. The soothing beauty of the late winter snowfall is really great. If you have any questions, let me know in the comments, and I will do my best to answer them.

Thanks a lot for your time and attention. I will catch up with you at the next one.

Wishing you a good day!

I took all the photos, and these are my own property.

Dear @tanzil2024 !
Hassan!
I felt like this winter was warm! Where I live, the snow melted and turned into rain.
I thought the building with the lights on in the windows in the picture was the dorm you live in!
What does it feel like to be alone in a dark, empty space? I wonder how you spend your lonely winter nights!
I'm curious about the space you live in!

Are there any foreigners like you living in the dorm?

How I've missed the snow! Thank you for transporting me for a moment to a place free from the scorching sun.

Wow, Beijing looks so beautiful covered in snow! Love how peaceful everything looks, even if the snow makes things a bit tricky.
