Journey from airport to airport

Hello, my dear Hive fellows! Welcome to my world of traveling.

I visited my home country last month for two weeks during my last holiday season. As I am living in Beijing, it is a tough journey from Beijing to Dhaka as there is no direct flight. And most importantly there are two cities in China from where you can go to Dhaka by taking a direct flight and the number is also fixed, on 3 flights per day. One flight from the Southern-West of China, the Kunming City of Yunnan province. And other twos from the Guangdong province, Guangzhou city.

Among them two Chinese airlines: China Eastern Airlines and China Southern Airlines, and Bangladeshi airlines known as the US-Bangla Airlines operate their flights regularly. So from Beijing, I have two options, either Eastern or Southern, and both of them have a single flight every day from Guangzhou and Kunming. I have to go to these places with the connecting flights for my travel.

But the problem is that for China Eastern Airlines, I need to claim my luggage in Kunming again and undergo the check-in again which is troublesome when the transfer time is less than two hours. And other times the schedule will need 12-26 hours of transfer time which is an issue often to book a hotel there for spending nights and that increases the cost and reduces my precious holiday number.

For China Southern Airlines, the ticket price is around 1000 RMB more which is a significant amount for me though the transfer hassle is lessened here as there is no requirement of claiming my luggage again at the airport in Guangzhou City. But all the hassles were gone when I spent my time in the Kunming Airport and the Beijing Airport which is the largest on in the world.

Beijing Daxing International Airport (PKX) is not only the largest in China but all over the world it has been constructed with billions of dollars and has the capacity to transfer billions of people each year. However I have noticed that very few international flights are operated from here, most of the flights are domestic ones in my observation. Most of the international flights are operated from another airport known as the Peking International Airport (PEK) which is far near to the Beijing City Centre.

However, the distance is not an issue here as the special subway line from Beijing downtown to the Daxing International Airport is a great medium of transportation as it is almost 80 km south of the Beijing city center. And the taxi fare is gonna be very high for me as I live about 65 km north of the Beijing City center. So, public transport is a great savings for me as it saves almost 85% of my total cost with the taxi from the airport to my institute.

So, I use public transport which is also very convenient till you are okay with your luggage to bear some hassle during changing the subway shuttles. And also the number of special shuttles is so frequent that you don't need to wait for a longer period. It is so frequent from 6 to midnight.

It is a good time to spend time here with world-class security and the fascilities of all modern things from well-maintained information displayed and the information availability and the public services like the everyday necessities from the charging ports, internet, during the water, frequent number of toilets and an abundant numbers of shops for duty-free products and several restaurants with a lot of international food chains such as the burger king, KFC, Mcdonalds, Starbucks and a lot of native food chains.

But most of the time I don't eat heavy foods during my journey but often I feel very hungry and ate some snacks from the food chain shops. A great thing is that the food price is almost similar to the outside outlets of these food chains. The difference is very negligible. Furthermore, I have noticed some duty free shops take more in price like I bought the noodles pack from a duty-free shop and the price is almost double the usual price of the noodle pack in China.

Finally I love travelling and when it is my home country then I am more excited before the day comes. I remain very excited from the day when I buy my tickets before several weeks of the journey. Whenever I get my jolidays I couldn't resist myself from being excited. It is the feeling of like dreaming!

I hope you like my visit to such an amazing place, my home my home country through these beautiful airports and enjoying there. It was amazing to have visited an amazing place to enjoy and lose myself away from the whole busy life! If you have any queries, let me know in the comments, and I will try my best to answer them.

Thanks a lot for your time and attention. I will catch up with you at the next one.
I wish you a great day!

My dear bro @tanzil2024 !

Hassan!
I wonder why you spend the most precious time of your life abroad!
I felt envious when I saw you spending a lot of money and time on air travel!
You look like an Islamic monk on the plane!
Are the two men sitting in front of you Bangladeshi?

I wonder what you will do next as a scientist!

I think they were Bangladeshi people. I am not a good practicing Muslim, but I respect my religion more than my life. And for monks, it is too far to be there through too much studying and practicing though we don't have such differences in the people as everyone is supposed to tell Allah, our god, about our own activity, no responsibility for others in our actions.

I want to be a good scientist and do some great research for Humanity which is my goal.

Thanks for your comment.
