Introduction Of Inaugural Land Card Edition In Splinterlands

I hope everyone is having a great time in the Splinterlands with much more fun with new cards and new strategies. The Splinterlands is becoming more exciting as new things are coming to the Splinterverse regularly. The introduction of the New cards is the buzzing sound in the sphere. As my participation in the "Splinterlands Community Engagement Challenge: Inaugural Land Card Edition" in this post, I am going to talk about the announcement of the Inaugural Land cards in the Splinterlands that have a great potentiality in the next phase of the game. I hope it will give you new insights for using this amazing ability more effectively to make your Splinterlands journey more engaging and more interesting.

Recently, Splinterlands has announced the inaugural Land Card Edition, which is a major expansion to the Land gameplay mechanism in the coming days. In the new gameplay play it will introduce new mechanics, new card types, and new resource sinks for the ecosystem. This card edition is designed to test player interest, balance, and develop the game economics, and evaluate the impact before larger Land Card sets are released in the future land expansion implementation. The major things about these cards are as follows -

• These new Cards can be crafted directly from Land resources that you earn from the land activities

• For crafting Cards, you need the Cinder, which is a new resource created by burning cards

• These new cards are designed exclusively for Land usage, not for the normal battle purposes like the existing cards

• They will provide different Land-only abilities affecting production, efficiency, and worker management in the land gameplay

• A new mechanism is introduced as the Labor’s Luck

There will be the same 4 types of rarity, including the Common, Rare, Epic, and Legendary—each has exactly one card in this initial edition.

According to the announcement, these cards will have a limited number of circulation that can take up to 3 months. These cards are are useful for the lands and their use cases will be limited by -

• Cannot be used in Ranked, Brawls, or Tournaments
• Do not have combat stats
• Function exclusively as Land workers and require a worker slot
• They are NOT able to be used in the Conflicts.

You have to keep in mind that that first 3 days are allocated as a soul-bound and after this period you are free to do your task of crafting these awesome cards.

Though these cards will not be available for the normal gameplay but these cards will some abilities that will be focused on the land gameplay activities.

• Bountiful Grain / Wood / Stone / Iron / Aura ability provides a production bonus for worksites producing that resource that increases he land production.

• Toil and Kin ability provides a production bonus if one of your workers has the matching Bloodline, just like in the summoners' enabling ability to the same bloodlines.

• Dark Discount ability reduces the amount of DEC required to stake for the plot to reach 100% efficiency, which will help you to save more DEC or enable more lands to work with a high production rate.

• Energized ability acts as a replacement for a Power Core.

• Rationing ability reduces the amount of grain consumed on the plot harvest, which is also a great ability to enhance the land efficiency in the assets production.

• Labor’s Luck is a chance of discovering a GF, GFA, BF, or BFA Land Card during plot harvest. This is the only way to obtain these foil variants aside from market purchases. Only Regular Foil cards are craftable.

There are some combinations that has some combo effect in the abilities as shown in the announcement in the following pictures.

The cost for the crafting cards is quite high for these cards as follows. The good thing is that these costs will improve the game economy as it will burn a massive assets to develop the game economy in the future.
