How Rulesets Defines The Splinterlands Strategy
Hello, my dear friend from the Splinterlands universe.
I hope everyone of you are having a great time in the Splinterlands. The game is becoming more fun with the continuous development in the strategies, new cards with new abilities and new combos. Currently, I am playing the game on a regular basis, especially I am collecting the free cards from the Foundation format and also the Modern format as the foundations cards can be used in the Modern battles which is a great thing for the game at the moment. In this way the game is evolving everyday with new things with the support of the positive vibe in the in the cryptomarket. So, I am more hopeful and confident about the game than previous time. As the battles are becoming more difficult in modern format with low level cards, I am trying to collect more free cards from the daily rewards to do well in the modern formats.
Today I'm writing this blog post about the "Splinterlands Community Engagement Challenge: Battlefield Breakdowns!" I'm going to talk about two of my battle ruleset that enable two abilities to all of the monsters in the battle which are called the REACH and CAMOUFLAGE. These rulesets are so exciting that make the battle more fascinating with the dominating melee attackers with the more damage toward the primary TANK. These rulesets can change the overall battle completely with the amazing empowerment of the rulesets and with some anti-melee mayhem rulesets like thorns. I also write about my experiences and strategies in my hive blogging on a regular basis. You can read those posts every day on the community blogs which can make your Splinterlands journey more exciting.
In the REACH ability, all of the monsters with the melee attack can attack from 2nd position in the friendly monsters' line-up. If you have melee-attacking monsters in the back-line with Sneak or Opportunity, those abilities take over in the battle. Selecting a summoner that increases melee attack or a summoner that reduces the melee attack of enemies can be a great strategy to do better in this ruleset. Using monsters with Thorns, Inspire, Blast, and Retaliate helps in this ruleset to fight against this specific ruleset in the battle.
The second ability Camouflage, is another great ability that makes the monsters to stay untouchable in the battles until the monster come to the first position as the primary Tank of the battle. In the following points I am going to share my points how to do better in such rulesets in your battles-
It is better to use the higher attacking numbers as your supporting monsters will continue attacking until it comes to the first position.
Monsters with higher number of hearts should be kept in the fron positions and the lower hearts monsters must be kept in the backward to do well in the overall battles.
Melee attackers can be a good choice as most of the melee attackers have a tremendous number of attacks compared to the magic and range attackers in some cases.
It is not a good choice to use more Range attackers as they can not perform theri attacks when they are at the first positions unless they have the required ability. Though range attackers have higher attacking numbers but they are not the good choice compare to magic attacks.
My Battle Breakdown
In my battle with the REACH and CAMOUFLAGE abilities to my monsters, I have won this match for some amazing monsters that supported my other monsters perfectly. The most supportive rulesets that my monsters contributed to the battles -
VOID that made my primary TANK to loose less health towards the magic attacks. Also my primary TANK has a good amount of armors that keep it safe from the melee and range attacks to sustain more time than other monsters.
THORNS is another ability that one of my monsters had helped me to damage the melee attackers with two damage but it had very lower health but I have chosen it as an extra card to absorbe some attacks from some enemy monsters.
Weaken is also a great ability that deduct one health from each of the enemy monsters which is a great ability and combo with my summoner that also decreases another health and in total it reduces two health to all of the enemy monsters.
Life Leech is another great ability that allow this monsters to have an extra life after it successfully attacks its target and damage some of the hearts. The leech number is the half of the total damage to the targets.
I hope you find some useful information in the post that will add more fun to your Splinterlands journey. If you have any questions, you can ask me in the comments. I will try to answer them as much as I can. Thanks a lot for your time and attention. I will catch you at the next one.
Have a great day!
