Fish and spicy fish

Bangladesh is a land of river and the people of Bangladesh are used to with some river based foods, mainly fish. Though the rivers are loosing their water contain due to the ecological imbalance ang global warming effext on the environment!

Also, human made dams are crucial in the flow of water and that affects on the life ecosystem in the river. As a consequences, fishes are diminishing in Bangladeshi rivers. Apart from these issues, Bangladeshi people didn’t change their habit of loving fish.

Currently, Bangladesh is exporting a lot of fish from mamy neighbouring countries; riverein fishes from India and much more sea fishes from Southeast asian countries. And also, Bangladesh has a solid amount of native fishes from the rivers and water bodies throughout the country, especially in the southern part of it.

As a Bangladeshi, I love eating fish; any kind of fish from river, canal or sea or any other sources. Most of the time I search fish in my canteen here, I try to select fish in the restaurant in maximum times, and also order fish from the online food delivery apps.

But, unfortunately the fish items here in Beijing is very limited. Beijing has less anount of fish restaurants and also number of fish items and types of fishes are limited if I compare with my countries restaurants.

Truely speaking, in Bangladesh you can find more fish items than the number of meat items. May be the price has an effect here as fishes are cheap in Bangladesh comparatively. But fish is also very cheap in China, especially the carp type of fishes.

I used to buy fish from the online shops here, mainly I buy pomfrets, praws and salmon. All of these are more flexible to clean or already cleaned in some cases. I can't afford to much time to spend in cleaning some kinds of fishes with scales including smaller or larger scales.

I personally like the skin so I don't peel it completely while processing fishes. Also, Bangladeshi people koves a lot of spices and for me I have the option to use different kinds of powder forms of spices.

Normally, many spices are used with raw forms and they are blended for the best taste, but I have to use grinded version of all of these spices. I have the option of marinating for long periods to increase the taste. And often I do overnight marination to get the best kind of preparation and get an amazing taste.

In Bangladesh, people love curry type cooking that can have the vegetables loke tomatoes, potatoes, brinjals, and so many others. But here in Beijing I love the fried version as itvis much more easier with air fryer or with the curry cooker very easily.

With fried fish, I usually take some salad types vegetables. Sometimes I lso eat the readymade paratha type staple food with the fish.

Thanks for your time and attention. Hope to catch you at the next.
Have great day!

Dear @tanzil2024 !
My dear bro Hassan!
Since ancient times, the Chinese have brought carp totems.
They had a superstition that carp would transform into a dragon, so they
identified with the Chinese emperor.😄

Because Beijing is far from the sea, the people of Beijing are very fond of freshwater fish. Carp was the most easily available fish in Beijing.
I love sea fish!
I assumed you might like freshwater fish!

I also prefer sea fish and the national fish (Hilsha Fish) of Bangladesh is also sea fish which is my favorite but it has so many bones and many people don't like it due to an excess amount of bones!
