Another Sunny Day in the Freezing Cold!

20241207_151528.jpg

This year, Beijing's weather has improved a lot; most of the time, the air quality index remains top-notch, and often, we have several crystal sunny days in this northern region of Beijing Municipal. From early-mid October, when I returned to China from my visit to Bangladesh, only a week of dusty weather existed, and some rainy days were there with the foggy surroundings. But more than 80% of the days are with the air quality index, and from early November, I have experienced great weather here, except for the lower humidity, which is a common fact for winter times. I am really pleased that the Municipal Authority changed the air quality to an excellent level in 2019 when I first came to Beijing. It is really the fruit of tremendous effort in forestation and in taking care of the forest area all over Beijing.

So I didn't waste my time last Saturday afternoon while I was outdoors walking around the town of Beifang, which is not so far from my dormitory. I often go there for lunch and dinner at some Muslim restaurants and do most of the daily shopping. Walking. The area is nice to walk in the afternoon and enjoy nature, but now it's not as pretty because of the cold as it seems in the other times with the green lashes everywhere.

Almost all of the trees in the nearby forest area have lost all of their leaves, and the ground is covered with brown, dried leaves. A clear path leads to the town area through the empty nature. The trees ' empty branches make for a beautiful view, with the dark blue sky in the background and sunny sunrays. You can spend time and take pictures here because there are so many beautiful places to see them. The coldness was also so severe, but the heavy sun was making me a little comfortable with its warm touch on my face.

I found some sounds of birds in the nearby shade of some grasses and found some tiny birds whose names I have forgotten now. And also found some bigger species of Oriental magpie-robin, which is the national bird of Bangladesh, but our ones are smaller than this species here in China. Also, the sideways were being cleaned by cutting the dried grasses and making the walkways cleaned in this area. And these birds were busy to find some insects for their food.

After being there for a while, I crossed the forest area and went to the nearby town to buy some fruits at the grocery store. It was quite interesting to enjoy the sunny day walking, which can give our body some extra vitamin D. So, I always try to have some walks on sunny days, especially in winter when the sun is relatively softer than the other times.

After about 45-50 minutes of walking the surrounding area, I entered the town area as usual. The town area was busy, around 50 km from the Beijing city center. I bought some other grocery items and returned to the dormitory in the same way, but it was straightforward and took around 20 minutes to reach the end of the town.

I hope you like my photos of the beauty of this gray world on such a sunny day in this forestry area with a crystal blue sky. It was an amazing experience to experience winter nature in the north of Huairou, to discover different natural beauty, and to enjoy my Beijing life! If you have any queries, let me know in the comments, and I will try my best to answer them.

Thanks a lot for your time and attention. I will catch up with you at the next one.
Wish you a good day!

assalam alaykum! @tanzil2024 !

I remember Beijing's winter weather being very harsh!
I imagined you walking alone in the deserted wilderness of Beijing!

I wrote a short poem for Hassan!😉

Why does Hassan enjoy his solitude alone in the uninhabited wilderness?
I guessed that Hassan was trying to forget his homesickness by immersing himself in his own solitude!

A person does not know loneliness when he is alone. He feels loneliness only when he is with many people!

I wonder how winter in Bangladesh is different from Beijing!😃

I think I don't feel alone because I enjoy my surroundings by myself and most of the time I stay very busy with my work. By the way, your poem is a good one, you should try more, ha ha ha!

I think winter is always harsh wherever you are. And if compared with Bangladesh, then it is not comparable, you can make a comparison between a mango and lemon, because two country's locations are different and there is no winter if compare to Beijing's winter with Bangladesh.
