What Attracts people to Play Terracore?

I saw so many contest on Powerclub as well as other communities as well. I think there are so many games on Hive but when I have researched about those games I came to know that it is not beneficial to new players at all.

Old players are making very less profit and that makes it difficult to decide about putting the money into a game. I like terracore but I don't see good future I don't know why.

If I am wrong please correct me and make me aware about the game, So far I know that I need around 29 hive to join the game but I will have to earn 14000 scraps and sell them at 0.002 price in terms of hive to recover it.

Is it that I should not see this game as a short term thing and play it as a long term, maybe very long term thing. I still have not started playing any game here but I have eyes on terracore and splinterlands.
