[ENG/ESP] Wednesday filled with smiles and jobs well done.
Hello, dear #wednesdaywalk friends! Every week I meet up with you here to tell you about another one of my outings. Today's was quite intense but very happy, full of moments that, although everyday, felt special because of the company and the little surprises of the day.
I got up early, as I usually do on Wednesdays, with the sole intention of getting my work routine at the Hotel Unik done as early as possible. I got ready calmly, had my coffee, checked my schedule, and made sure I had everything ready so that the day would go smoothly. The weather was great, with clear skies, the kind that make everything feel lighter. I took advantage of the good weather to take some photos that I will share with you later, thanks to the initiative of our dear friend @tattoodjay, who always encourages us to capture the beautiful moments of the day.
Saludo queridos amigos de #wednesdaywalk, cada semana aquí me encuentro con ustedes para contarles otro de mis recorridos. El de hoy fue bastante intenso pero muy feliz, lleno de momentos que, aunque cotidianos, se sintieron especiales por la compañía y las pequeñas sorpresas del día.
Me levanté temprano, como suelo hacerlo los miércoles, solo con la idea de hacer lo más temprano que podía mi rutina de trabajo en el Hotel Unik. Me preparé con calma, tomé mi café, revisé mi agenda, y me aseguré de tener todo listo para que el día fluyera sin contratiempos. El clima estaba estupendo, con un cielo despejado, de esos que te hacen que todo se sienta más ligero. Aproveché ese buen clima para tomar algunas fotos que más tarde compartiré con ustedes, gracias a la iniciativa de nuestro querido amigo @tattoodjay, que siempre nos motiva a capturar los momentos bonitos del día.
I wanted to finish early, but without compromising the quality required in my work, because I had agreed with my mom to do other activities after I finished my tasks. She was very excited about our plan, and so was I, because it's always a pleasure to spend time with her.
When I finished my work routine, which was quite productive, by the way, I went with my mother to the Zoon office to pick up some packages we had ordered a few days earlier. My mother was very excited, as the shipment contained some things she needed to take on her trip. She had been eagerly awaiting these items, and I was also curious to see how they had arrived.
Quería terminar temprano, pero sin descuidar la calidad requerida en mi trabajo, porque había quedado con mi mamá en hacer otras actividades después que terminaran mis tareas. Ella estaba muy emocionada por el plan que teníamos, y yo también, porque siempre es un gusto compartir tiempo con ella.
Al terminar mi rutina de trabajo, que por cierto fue bastante productiva, fui con mi madre a la oficina Zoon para retirar unos paquetes que habíamos encargado hace unos días atrás. Mi madre estaba muy motivada, ya que en el envío venían algunas cosas que ella debía llevar en su viaje. Había estado esperando con mucha ilusión esos artículos, y yo también estaba curiosa por ver cómo habían llegado.
We went to pick up the package at the Zoom office in the Sambil shopping center. I love this office because there are never any lines, the employees are very friendly, they always greet you with a smile, and they serve you quickly. Plus, the environment is clean and organized, which makes the experience much more pleasant.
Pasamos a recoger el paquete en la oficina Zoom del centro comercial Sambil. Esta oficina me encanta porque nunca tiene colas, los empleados son muy amables, siempre te reciben con una sonrisa y te atienden con rapidez. Además, el ambiente es limpio, organizado, y eso hace que la experiencia sea mucho más agradable.
After picking up our package, we went home. We showered, changed clothes, and chose something comfortable but nice because we wanted to continue with our day. Then we went out again, this time to pick up my son at the La Vela shopping center. He had gone out with some friends, and besides picking him up, we wanted to walk around the stores for a while to look for a cable for my nephew's phone. My mom wants to surprise him and take it with her on her trip, so he won't have any more trouble charging his phone. It's a small gesture, but one full of love.
Después de recoger nuestra encomienda, fuimos para la casa. Nos bañamos, nos cambiamos de ropa, elegimos algo cómodo pero bonito porque queríamos seguir con nuestro día. Luego salimos nuevamente, esta vez para recoger a mi hijo en el centro comercial "La Vela". Él había salido con unas amigas, y aparte de recogerlo, queríamos caminar un rato por las tiendas para buscar un cable para el teléfono de mi sobrino. Mi mamá quiere darle la sorpresa y llevárselo en su viaje, para que no pase más trabajo al cargar su teléfono. Es un gesto pequeño, pero lleno de cariño.
We arrived at the shopping center and as we walked around, my mother wanted to take pictures everywhere. She loves photos, especially if they are to show my sister, who lives far away and always wants to see how we are doing. We laughed a lot, struck funny poses, and even asked a lady to take a picture of us together in front of a beautiful fountain.
Llegamos al centro comercial y en el recorrido que dimos, mi madre quería tomarse fotos en todos los lugares. Le encantan las fotos, y más aún si son para mostrarle a mi hermana, que vive lejos y siempre quiere ver cómo estamos. Nos reímos mucho, hicimos poses divertidas, y hasta pedimos a una señora que nos tomara una foto juntas frente a una fuente muy bonita.
At the end of the tour, we decided to end our day with a delicious ice cream cone. It was the perfect finishing touch, that little pleasure that makes us feel like the day was complete. We sat on a bench, enjoyed the ice cream, chatted a little more, and then went home with happy hearts.

Al terminar el recorrido, decidimos cerrar nuestro día con una deliciosa barquilla. Fue el broche de oro, ese pequeño placer que nos hace sentir que el día fue completo. Nos sentamos en una banca, disfrutamos el helado, conversamos un poco más, y luego nos fuimos a casa con el corazón contento.
Los veré muy pronto el próximo miércoles, como siempre, con otro relato de mis andanzas.
