[ENG/ESP] Thursday among clouds, work, and macaws.
Happy Friday, everyone. It's already the last day of the work week, and after fulfilling my responsibilities, I'll take a well-deserved break until Monday. There's nothing like knowing that a break is coming up to recharge my batteries and enjoy the warmth of home.
Today I want to share with you how my work routine went this past Thursday. It was a pretty busy day, but also full of pleasant moments that made me smile and disconnect a little.
I had planned to visit two places: Sunsol Unik and Sigo Parque Costa Azul. Fortunately, both are very close to each other, which makes logistics much easier and allows me to optimize my time. That proximity is a blessing, especially when there are several tasks to accomplish in the same day.
I got up early, as usual, to start my day. The weather was a little cloudy at dawn, with that fresh, gentle air that envelops everything with a touch of mystery and calm. Personally, I'm not a big fan of those days when the sky is gray, although I do recognize that they have a special charm. Besides, since the streets are a little emptier at that time of day, you can drive calmly, without the stress of traffic, and enjoy the scenery, both natural and urban.
Feliz viernes para todos. Ya estamos en el último día de la semana laboral, y después de cumplir con mis responsabilidades, me tomaré una merecida pausa hasta el lunes. Nada como saber que se acerca el descanso para recargar energías y disfrutar del calor de la casa.
Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes cómo me fue en mi rutina de trabajo este jueves que recién culminó. Fue un día bastante movido, pero también lleno de momentos agradables que me hicieron sonreír y desconectar un poco.
Tenía programado visitar dos lugares: Sunsol Unik y Sigo Parque Costa Azul. Afortunadamente, ambos están muy cerca uno del otro, lo que facilita mucho la logística y me permite optimizar el tiempo. Esa cercanía es una bendición, sobre todo cuando hay varias tareas por cumplir en un mismo día.
Me levanté temprano, como de costumbre, para comenzar mi jornada. El clima amaneció un poco nublado, con ese aire fresco y suave que envuelve todo con un toque de misterio y calma. Personalmente, no me encantan esos días en los que el cielo se viste de gris, aunque no dejo de reconocer que tienen un encanto especial. Además, como ya las avenidas están un poco más vacías a esa hora, se puede manejar con tranquilidad, sin el estrés del tráfico, y uno puede darse el lujo de disfrutar del paisaje, tanto natural como urbano.
One of the things I liked most about the trip was a very special moment I experienced on Luisa Cáceres Avenue. While driving, I noticed some macaws perched on one of the bushes along the side of the road. I couldn't resist: I carefully stopped the car, stood at the side of the road, and took some photos of them. As if they knew they were the center of attention, they remained still, posing elegantly while eating fruit from the tree. It was a magical moment, one of those moments that connect you with nature and fill you with joy.
Una de las cosas que más me gustó del trayecto fue un momento muy especial que viví en la avenida Luisa Cáceres. Mientras conducía, noté unas guacamayas posadas en uno de los arbustos al borde de la vía. No pude resistirme: detuve el auto con cuidado, me paré al borde de la calle y les tomé unas fotos. Ellas, como si supieran que eran el centro de atención, se quedaron quietas, posando con elegancia mientras comían frutos del árbol. Fue un instante mágico, de esos que te conectan con la naturaleza y te llenan de alegría.
After that little gift of the day, I continued on my way, enjoying every corner that Margarita Island had to offer.
I arrived at Sunsol Unik and carried out my work routine without a hitch. Everything went very well, which gave me a sense of calm and satisfaction. I love it when things flow harmoniously.
Después de ese pequeño regalo del día, continué mi camino, disfrutando de cada rincón que la isla de Margarita me ofrecía.
Llegué a Sunsol Unik y realicé mi rutina de trabajo sin contratiempos. Todo salió muy bien, lo que me dio una sensación de tranquilidad y satisfacción. Me encanta cuando las cosas fluyen con armonía.
Then I headed to Costa Azul Park, which is very close by, to continue with the measurements and chlorination. I also took the opportunity to deliver the invoices, all in an orderly and timely manner. I felt very productive and grateful to be able to fulfill my responsibilities.
Luego me dirigí a Parque Costa Azul, que está muy cerca, para continuar con las mediciones y la cloración correspondiente. También aproveché para entregar las facturas, todo de manera ordenada y puntual. Me sentí muy productiva y agradecida por poder cumplir con mis responsabilidades.
When I left, my husband was already waiting for me. Today we decided to divide up the tasks: while I took care of the work routine, he went to the bank to deliver some important documents. This way of organizing ourselves allows us to move faster and make better use of the day. Working as a team always yields good results.
With all our goals for the day accomplished, we headed back home. Although the sun had come out and the sky had cleared a bit, there were low clouds over the mountains, a clear sign that it would probably rain by nightfall. And honestly, I think there's no better place to enjoy a good rain than at home, with a cup of hot coffee or tea.
Al salir, mi esposo ya me estaba esperando. Hoy decidimos dividirnos las tareas: mientras yo me encargaba de la rutina de trabajo, él fue al banco a entregar unos documentos importantes. Esta forma de organizarnos nos permite avanzar más rápido y aprovechar mejor el día. Trabajar en equipo siempre da buenos resultados.
Con todos nuestros objetivos del día cumplidos, emprendimos el camino de regreso a casa. Aunque el sol ya había salido y el cielo se había despejado un poco, se notaban unas nubes bajas sobre las montañas, señal clara de que probablemente llovería al caer la noche. Y sinceramente, creo que no hay mejor lugar para disfrutar de una buena lluvia que el hogar, con una taza de café o té caliente.
