[ENG/ESP] Start of a quiet and productive week.
Greetings dear Hivers! I hope this start of the week is excellent for all of you, and most importantly, that it is very productive. Starting off on the right foot always helps things flow better, at least I think so.
Last week was quite hectic for me, full of responsibilities and tasks, but fortunately, this week seems to be starting off a bit calmer. Although, from experience, I know that could change at any moment, I prefer to enjoy this moment of serenity and take it as an opportunity to get better organized in my tasks for the week.
Today I left home very early, as usual, and was met with somewhat cloudy weather. However, throughout the day, the sun decided to make an appearance and suddenly everything seemed to improve.
¡Saludos queridos Hivers! Espero que este inicio de semana sea excelente para todos ustedes, y lo más importante, que sea muy productivo. Comenzar con el pie derecho siempre ayuda a que las cosas fluyan mejor, al menos eso creo yo.
La semana pasada fue bastante ajetreada para mí, llena de responsabilidades y tareas, pero afortunadamente, esta semana parece estar comenzando con un poco más de calma. Aunque, por experiencia, sé que eso podría cambiar en cualquier momento, prefiero disfrutar de este momento de serenidad y tomarlo como una oportunidad para organizarme mejor en mis tareas de la semana.
Hoy salí de casa muy temprano, como de costumbre, y me encontré con un clima algo nublado. Sin embargo, a lo largo del día, el sol decidió hacer acto de presencia y de repente todo pareció mejorar.
My usual tour included visits to several hotels of the chain we work with. There I measured the water parameters and delivered the invoices corresponding to the work done. It is a routine that, although it can sometimes be repetitive, gives me a lot of satisfaction because I know that I am contributing to the proper functioning of the facilities.
On this occasion, I was fortunate to have my husband's company. His current schedule has allowed him to accompany me on these tours, which not only makes the tasks more bearable, but also allows me to enjoy his emotional as well as practical support in the family business. This is especially important at this time, as we are providing valuable support to my father, who is still in recovery. Knowing that I am not alone at this stage gives me immense peace of mind.
Mi recorrido habitual incluyó visitas a varios hoteles de la cadena con los que trabajamos. Allí me dediqué a medir los parámetros del agua y a entregar las facturas correspondientes al trabajo realizado. Es una rutina que, aunque a veces puede ser repetitiva, me da mucha satisfacción porque sé que estoy contribuyendo al buen funcionamiento de las instalaciones.
En esta ocasión, tuve la suerte de contar con la compañía de mi esposo. Su horario actual le ha permitido acompañarme en estos recorridos, lo cual no solo hace que las tareas sean más llevaderas, sino que también me permite disfrutar de su apoyo tanto emocional como práctico en el negocio familiar. Esto es especialmente importante en estos momentos, ya que estamos brindándole un valioso apoyo a mi padre, quien aún se encuentra en recuperación. Saber que no estoy sola en esta etapa me da una tranquilidad inmensa.
After completing the tour, I headed to the bank to make a deposit. However, as many will already know, the first two days of the week can be particularly frustrating for this type of errand. The long lines and slow service mean that this procedure consumes a large part of the day. For this reason, I avoid going to the bank on Mondays or Tuesdays unless absolutely necessary. Today, unfortunately, I had no choice but to do so.
We left the bank quite late, exhausted, hungry and thirsty. So we decided to leave pending for the next day a visit related to a health permit, since because of the time we would probably not be attended to.
Después de completar el recorrido, me dirigí al banco para hacer un depósito. Sin embargo, como muchos ya sabrán, los dos primeros días de la semana pueden ser particularmente frustrantes para este tipo de diligencias. Las largas filas y la lentitud en el servicio hacen que esta gestión consuma gran parte del día. Por esta razón, evito ir al banco los lunes o martes a menos que sea absolutamente necesario. Hoy, lamentablemente, no tuve más opción que hacerlo.
Salimos del banco bastante tarde, agotados, con hambre y sed. Así que decidimos dejar pendiente para el día siguiente una visita relacionada con un permiso sanitario, ya que por la hora probablemente no nos atenderían.
On the way home, I took a moment to enjoy the scenery around us. I was grateful that the weather had cleared, allowing me to appreciate both the beauty of the natural environment and the details of the urban landscape. I like to feel connected to everything around me, it's something that gives me a sense of tranquility and peace.
De regreso a casa, me tomé un momento para disfrutar del paisaje que nos rodeaba. Agradecí que el clima se hubiera despejado, permitiéndome apreciar tanto la belleza del entorno natural como los detalles del paisaje urbano. Me gusta sentirme conectada con todo lo que me rodea, es algo que me da una sensación de tranquilidad y paz.
