Greetings, dear hives. I hope you are enjoying your day very much and make the most of this weekend that is already beginning, full of opportunities to relax and explore. It is a good time to recharge energies, share with our loved ones and enjoy the charms that surround us.
Today was a special and very peaceful day for me. Incredibly, I only had to stop by one of the chain's hotels, this time it was the Sunsol Isla Caribe. This is one of those places that always brings me peace and joy, not only because of its proximity to the sea, but also because of the warm and welcoming atmosphere. So, as you can imagine, my day began in the best way; with total relaxation.
The weather could not have been better; it was simply perfect. It was the ideal day to capture the beautiful landscapes, both natural and urban, that the island has to offer. Every corner seemed worthy of a photograph, and I felt inspired by the beauty that surrounded me.

Es un buen momento para recargar energías, compartir con nuestros seres queridos y disfrutar de los encantos que nos rodean.
Hoy fue un día especial y muy tranquilo para mí. Increíblemente, solo tuve que pasar por uno de los hoteles de la cadena, en esta ocasión fue el Sunsol Isla Caribe. Este es uno de esos lugares que siempre me trae paz y alegría, no solo por su cercanía con el mar, sino por el ambiente cálido y acogedor que se respira. Así que, como podrán imaginar, mi jornada empezó de la mejor manera; con total relajación.
El clima no podía ser mejor; estaba simplemente perfecto. Era el día ideal para capturar hermosos paisajes, tanto naturales como urbanos, que la Isla tiene para ofrecernos. Cada rincón parecía digno de una fotografía, y me sentí inspirada por la belleza que me rodeaba.

When I am lucky enough to go to a Sunsol near the sea, it fills me with a sense of absolute tranquility. I go super relaxed, with the certainty that everything will go well and it will be a satisfying experience. This also gives me time to really enjoy the environment, to appreciate the sea and spend long hours sitting by it, breathing that air full of life and freshness. It is a priceless luxury, even if the islanders see it as an everyday occurrence.

Cuando tengo la suerte de ir a un Sunsol cerca del mar, me llenó de una sensación de tranquilidad absoluta. Voy super relajada, con la certeza de que todo saldrá bien y será una experiencia satisfactoria. Esto también me da tiempo para disfrutar realmente el entorno, para apreciar el mar y pasar largas horas sentada junto a él, respirando ese aire lleno de vida y frescura. Es un lujo que no tiene precio, aunque los isleños lo vean como algo cotidiano.

However, what happened to me today was really curious and I will never forget it. While I was on my way, I was forced to stop the car in the middle of the avenue. The reason? An iguana had decided to cross quietly, as if it was its stellar moment. I took the opportunity and got out to take some pictures. To my surprise, it seemed to be completely accustomed to humans and even seemed to pose for my camera. It was a magical moment, one of those that connect you with nature in a special way.

Sin embargo, lo que me ocurrió hoy fue realmente curioso y no lo olvidaré jamás. Mientras iba de camino, me vi obligada a detener el auto en plena avenida. ¿El motivo? Una iguana había decidido cruzar tranquilamente, como si fuera su momento estelar. Aproveché la oportunidad y me bajé para tomarle algunas fotos. Para mi sorpresa, parecía que estaba completamente acostumbrada a los humanos y hasta parecía posar para mi cámara. Fue un instante mágico, de esos que te conectan con la naturaleza de una manera especial.

As I looked at the beach, I couldn't help but notice how crowded it was. It's high season, and the beaches were full of vacationers enjoying their day to the fullest. The energy was contagious: children playing, families sharing and friends laughing. Plus, the beachfront hotels have brought an added touch of fun. Many have DJ's playing a variety of music to liven up the atmosphere. It's a perfect combination: sun, sea and good music.

Al mirar a la playa, no pude evitar notar lo concurrida que estaba. Es temporada alta, y las playas estaban llenas de temporadistas que disfrutaban de su día al máximo. La energía era contagiosa: niños jugando, familias compartiendo y amigos riendo. Además, los hoteles frente al mar han traído un toque adicional de diversión. Muchos han colocado DJ's que tocan música variada para amenizar el ambiente. Es una combinación perfecta: el sol, el mar y la buena música.

While walking along the beach, I noticed something that pleased me deeply. This year, they have put up many umbrellas and awnings, allowing visitors to enjoy the beach in comfort. In addition, I was surprised to see that almost all the hotels on the island were at almost 100% capacity. It has been years since the island has looked so lively, and this revival of tourism is good news for everyone.

Mientras recorría la playa, me di cuenta de algo que me alegró profundamente. Este año, han colocado muchas sombrillas y toldos, lo que permite a los visitantes disfrutar de la playa con comodidad. Además, me sorprendió ver que casi todos los hoteles de la isla estaban al casi al 100% de su capacidad. Hace años que la isla no lucía tan animada, y este renacimiento del turismo es una buena noticia para todos.

It is beneficial not only for the seasonal visitors, who have the opportunity to experience an unforgettable vacation, but also for the islanders. Many people here depend on tourism for their livelihood, and seeing this booming economic activity is cause for celebration. Of course, it also has its drawbacks, such as the difficulty of finding a place to park. Everything is crowded, but it's a small price to pay for so much vitality and joy.

Es beneficioso no solo para los temporadistas, quienes tienen la oportunidad de vivir unas vacaciones inolvidables, sino también para los isleños. Mucha gente aquí depende del turismo para su sustento, y ver esta actividad económica en auge es motivo de celebración. Claro, también tiene sus inconvenientes, como la dificultad para encontrar un lugar donde estacionar. Todo está copado, pero es un pequeño precio a pagar por tanta vitalidad y alegría.

After a while, I decided it was time to go home. More and more people were arriving at the beach, and I knew that leaving the apartment later would be complicated. As expected, we faced a long line on the way back. But even that could not overshadow the satisfaction of having had such an enjoyable day.

Después de un rato, decidí que era hora de volver a casa. Cada vez llegaban más personas a la playa, y sabía que salir del apartamento más tarde sería complicado. Como era de esperarse, nos tocó enfrentar una larga cola en la vía de regreso. Pero incluso eso no pudo opacar la satisfacción de haber tenido un día tan agradable.
