[ENG/ESP] Exploring modernity in Traki.
Hello, dear hives and friends of #architectureanddesign , I wish you all an excellent day. Today I want to share with you a pleasant experience in the department stores' Traki, located in La Vela shopping centre, in the Mariño municipality of Nueva Esparta state, here in the beautiful Margarita Island.

Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes una experiencia agradable en la tienda departamental Traki, ubicada en el centro comercial La Vela, en el municipio Mariño del estado Nueva Esparta, aquí en la hermosa Isla Margarita.
The first thing that struck me about Traki was its façade, which is a visual testimony of modernity and avant-garde. Instead of resorting to traditional static advertising, the shop has adopted a more dynamic strategy of the digital age: long screens that unfold along its front. These screens not only convey relevant information, but also become an integral part of the exterior decoration. It's a fresh, contemporary approach that reflects the times and attracts the attention of those passing by.
Lo primero que me gustó y me llamó la atención de Traki fue su fachada, que es un testimonio visual de modernidad y vanguardia. En lugar de recurrir a la publicidad estática tradicional, la tienda ha adoptado una estrategia más dinámica de la era digital: largas pantallas que se despliegan a lo largo de su frente. Estas pantallas no solo transmiten información relevante, sino que también se convierten en parte integral de la decoración exterior. Es un enfoque fresco y contemporáneo que refleja los tiempos actuales y atrae la atención de quienes pasan por su lado.
Once inside, the lighting takes centre stage. Small circular lamps recessed in the ceiling create a bright and welcoming ambience. If you are like me and appreciate well-lit spaces, you will surely enjoy this shop. The brightness is such that every corner seems to be bathed in natural light, which enhances the shopping experience.
Una vez dentro, la iluminación se convierte en protagonista. Las pequeñas lámparas circulares empotradas en el techo crean un ambiente luminoso y acogedor. Si eres como yo y aprecias los espacios bien iluminados, seguro disfrutarás de esta tienda. La claridad es tal que cada rincón parece estar bañado en luz natural, lo que realza la experiencia de compra.
As I crossed the threshold, I came across two imposing statues: one of the Virgen del Valle and the other of José Gregorio Hernández. Their size and presence do not go unnoticed, and add a special touch to the ambience. These religious figures, so deeply rooted in Venezuelan culture, integrate harmoniously with Traki's interior design.
Al cruzar el umbral, me encontré con dos estatuas imponentes: una de la Virgen del Valle y otra de José Gregorio Hernández. Su tamaño y presencia no pasan desapercibidos, y añaden un toque especial al ambiente. Estas figuras religiosas, tan arraigadas en la cultura Venezolana, se integran armoniosamente con el diseño interior de Traki.
The internal layout of the shop is another success. Without divisions that fragment the space, Traki presents itself as a large and fluid area. Well-aligned columns distributed at considerable distances support the ceiling, and right in the centre is an elevator that connects the different floors.
La distribución interna de la tienda es otro acierto. Sin divisiones que fragmentan el espacio, Traki se presenta como un área amplia y fluida. Columnas bien alineadas distribuidas a consideradas distancias, sostienen el techo, y justo en el centro se encuentra un elevador que conecta los diferentes pisos.
The department stores' has four floors, furniture, home and other accessories, children's clothing, women's fashion and men's fashion. The choice of floor depends on your needs and preferences.
Although there are also escalators, I personally prefer to use them, as I am not a fan of small and enclosed places.
La tienda departamental tiene cuatro plantas, muebles, accesorios para el hogar y otros, ropa de niños, todo en moda femenina y moda masculina. La elección del piso depende de tus necesidades y preferencias.
Aunque también hay escaleras eléctricas, personalmente prefiero usar usarlas, ya que no soy fanático de los lugares pequeños y cerrados.
The granite floor is very well polished, a detail that does not go unnoticed. It reflects the light from the ceiling in an elegant way, creating an attractive visual effect.
El suelo de granito está muy bien pulido, es un detalle que no pasa inadvertido. Reflejando la luz del techo de manera elegante, creando un efecto visual atractivo.
In addition, it has large glass panels that function as beautiful panoramic windows. From here, you can observe landscapes and urban movement, the comings and goings of people passing by outside and the life flowing outside the mall. It is a touch that makes a visit to Traki even more enjoyable and enriching.
Además, tiene grandes paneles de vidrio que funcionan como hermosas ventanas panorámicas. Desde aquí, puedes observar paisajes y el movimiento urbano, el ir y venir de las personas que transitan afuera y la vida que fluye fuera del centro comercial. Es un toque que hace que la visita a Traki sea aún más amena y enriquecedora.
In short, Traki offers a complete shopping experience. Good air-conditioning, dynamic spaces and, above all, excellent lighting combine to create a welcoming and functional environment. I made my purchase and came away very satisfied.

Greetings @taniagonzalez, the traki store maintains a similar design in the different states of the country; the elevators, stairs and light fixtures follow the same pattern that I have seen in several cities; at Christmas time and back to school the lines for shopping are long, thanks for sharing .

I did not know that all in the country had the same design, thanks @belkyscabrera for the information. The one here at the candle doesn't usually have much of a queue, I think because of its location which is not very central.

When I enter a store I feel like I'm entering a futuristic and modern place! This Traki is incredible, its design is very innovative and they knew how to distribute all the spaces.
