I wish you all a happy New Year's Eve. Today is December 31, and without a doubt, this day has a special magic. It's the perfect time to pause, get together with our loved ones, reflect on what we've experienced, make new plans, write down our goals, and review those we've achieved. It's a day filled with emotions, nostalgia for what we leave behind, and excitement for what's to come. I sincerely hope you have a wonderful time, surrounded by love and joy.
As for me, I am officially on vacation until January 1st of next year. So today I feel happy and grateful to be able to spend time with my family, enjoying their company, the laughter, the stories we tell over and over again, and the little moments that make life great.
Yesterday was my last day of work for the year, and it was a fairly quiet day. I was doing routine service at Sunsol Unik. Everything went quickly and efficiently, which was a pleasant surprise. The atmosphere was filled with a festive air; you could feel the joy in every corner, in every smile, in every greeting. We were all infected by that spirit of celebration that comes with the end of the year. It was as if the whole place was breathing enthusiasm and good wishes.

Es el momento perfecto para hacer una pausa, reunirnos con nuestros seres queridos, reflexionar sobre lo vivido, trazar nuevos planes, escribir metas y revisar aquellas que logramos cumplir. Es un día cargado de emociones, de nostalgia por lo que dejamos atrás y de ilusión por lo que está por venir. Espero de corazón que lo pasen súper, rodeados de amor y alegría.
Por mi parte, ya estoy oficialmente de descanso hasta el primero de enero del próximo año. Así que hoy me siento feliz y agradecida de poder compartir con mi familia, disfrutando de su compañía, de las risas, de las anécdotas que se cuentan una y otra vez, y de los pequeños momentos que hacen grande la vida.
Ayer fue mi último día de trabajo del año, y lo cerré con una jornada bastante tranquila. Estuve haciendo el servicio rutinario en Sunsol Unik. Todo fluyó con rapidez y eficiencia, lo cual fue una grata sorpresa. El ambiente estaba impregnado de un aire festivo, se sentía la alegría en cada rincón, en cada sonrisa, en cada saludo. Todos estábamos contagiados por ese espíritu de celebración que trae consigo el fin de año. Es como si el lugar entero respirara entusiasmo y buenos deseos.
Since we finished early, we took the opportunity to run some errands in the city. The sun was shining brightly, and the urban landscapes looked especially beautiful. It was as if the city itself knew that the year was coming to an end and wanted to say goodbye by showing its best side. Everything seemed to have a special glow.
Como terminamos temprano, aprovechamos para hacer algunas diligencias en la ciudad. El sol brillaba con fuerza, y los paisajes urbanos lucían especialmente hermosos. Era como si la ciudad misma supiera que el año estaba por concluir y quisiera despedirse mostrando su mejor cara. Todo parecía tener un brillo especial.
On our way, we stopped by the farm supply store where we usually buy food for our birds. Although we already had some at home, we decided to get a little more just in case. During the holidays, it's best to be prepared for any eventuality. Besides, taking care of our pets is also part of the celebration. They are part of the family and deserve the best.
En nuestro recorrido, pasamos por la agropecuaria donde solemos comprar los alimentos para nuestras aves. Aunque ya teníamos algo en casa, decidimos llevar un poco más por si acaso. En estos días festivos, es mejor estar preparados para cualquier eventualidad. Además, cuidar de nuestros animalitos también es parte de la celebración, ellos son parte de la familia y merecen lo mejor.
With all of our tasks for the day completed, we returned home to drop off our groceries. But since we still had some time left and it was a beautiful day, we decided to take a little trip to the beach. We had to pick up our son, so we took the opportunity to enjoy the sea for a while. My husband and I sat down and talked about some plans we have for next year. It was a very special moment. The sound of the waves, the breeze, and the clear sky created the perfect atmosphere to relax and disconnect from the daily hustle and bustle.
Con todas las tareas del día cumplidas, regresamos a casa a dejar las compras. Pero como aún quedaba algo de tiempo y el día estaba precioso, decidimos darnos una pequeña escapadita hasta la playa. Teníamos que recoger a nuestro hijo, así que aprovechamos para disfrutar un rato del mar. Mi esposo y yo nos sentamos, conversamos sobre algunos planes que tenemos para el próximo año. Fue un momento muy especial. El sonido de las olas, la brisa y el cielo despejado creaban un ambiente perfecto para relajarse y desconectar del ajetreo diario.
When our son finished his activities, we got together and went home together. On the way, we chatted animatedly about the preparations for New Year's Eve dinner, the dishes we were going to prepare, and everyone's wishes for the new year. It was a journey full of laughter, ideas, and lots of love.
That's how our day went, between work, errands, nature, and family. A simple day, but full of meaningful moments. Now all that's left is to enjoy this magical night, toast to what we've experienced, and all the good things to come.

Cuando nuestro hijo terminó sus actividades, nos reunimos y regresamos a casa juntos. En el camino, íbamos conversando animadamente sobre los preparativos para la cena de fin de año, sobre los platos que íbamos a preparar y los deseos que cada uno tenía para el nuevo año. Fue un trayecto lleno de risas, ideas y mucho cariño.
Así transcurrió nuestro día; entre trabajo, diligencias, naturaleza y familia. Un día sencillo, pero lleno de momentos significativos. Ahora solo queda disfrutar de esta noche mágica, brindar por lo vivido y por todo lo bueno que está por venir.
