[ENG/ESP] Cat themed night lamp.
Hello, I am happy to greet you once again in this #Diyhud month initiative. I want to confess to you that I am very motivated by this initiative, that's why I am here again. This time, I have created a lovely cat-themed bedside lamp for the bedroom table. Below, I will explain step by step how I made this simple lamp and the materials I used.

- Gray and white foami
- Flexible plastic sheet
- Blue gift ribbon
- Cardboard
- Wire
- Liquid silicone
- Scissors
- Transparent plastic lid
- Ruler
- Pencil
- Paper
- Model blade
- Battery LED device
- Small plastic cup
Hola! Me alegra saludarlos una vez más en esta iniciativa del mes de #Diyhud. Quiero confesarles que estoy muy motivado por esta iniciativa, por eso estoy aquí nuevamente. En esta ocasión, he creado una encantadora lámpara de noche con temática de gato para la mesa del dormitorio. A continuación, les explicaré paso a paso cómo hice esta sencilla lámpara y los materiales que utilicé.
Materiales:
- Foami gris y blanco
- Lámina de plástico flexible
- Cinta de regalo azul
- Cartón
- Alambre
- Silicona líquida
- Tijeras
- Tapa plástica transparente
- Regla
- Lápiz
- Papel
- Cuchilla de maqueta
- Dispositivo LED de batería
- Vaso pequeño de plástico
The first thing I did was to draw the cats on a sheet of paper so I could create the molds.
Lo primero que hice fue dibujar los gatos en una hoja para poder crear los moldes.
Then, using the pencil, ruler and compass, I transferred to the foami a square of 10x12 cm and a circumference of 3 cm radius.
Luego, utilizando el lápiz, la regla y el compás, transferí al foami un cuadrado de 10x12 cm y una circunferencia de 3 cm de radio.
I cut out the cat molds, transferred them to the foami square with the pencil, and carefully cut out the cats on the foami using the mock-up knife to avoid damaging it.
Recorte los moldes de gatos, los transferí al cuadrado de foami con el lápiz, con mucho cuidado recorté los gatos en el foami utilizando la cuchilla de maqueta con mucho cuidado, para evitar dañarlo.
Then, I placed the square of flexible plastic and fixed it with silicone dots so that the fomi would remain adhered to the plastic and would not separate when rolled up.
Luego, coloqué el cuadrado de plástico flexible, lo fijé con puntos de silicona para que el fomi quedara adherido al plástico y no se separara al enrollarlo.
I am going to cut two cardboard circles of 3cm radius and a 12x2cm ribbon, with which I am going to make the base of the lamp.
Paso a cortar dos círculos de cartón de 3cm de radio y un listón de 12x2cm, con la cual voy a elaborar la base de la lámpara.
With the help of the tweezers I shape the spring that I will place to hold the plastic cup with the LED device.
Con ayuda de la pinza le doy forma al resorte que colocaré para que sostenga el vasito plástico con el dispositivo led.
Once all the pieces were ready, I start assembling starting with the base, to one of the two circles with the help of the model knife, made a cut to pass the wire, which paste in the other circle of cardboard putting a generous amount of silicone, glued the edge joining the two circles, being formed the base with the spring in the center.
Una vez que todas las piezas estuvieron listas, me dispongo a ir armando comenzando por la base,a uno de los dos círculos con ayuda de la cuchilla de maqueta, realizó un corte para pasar el alambre , el cual pégate en el otro círculo de cartón poniéndole una cantidad generosa de silicón, le pegó el borde uniendo los dos círculos, quedando formada la base con el resorte en el centro.
I cover with foami, gray and white, applying liquid silicone to the base of the lamp, leaving it ready.

He continued applying silicone all around and gluing the square of gray foami, which I close at the end by placing the blue ribbon to decorate, so we have the body of the lamp ready.
La tapa plástica transparentes de un pote de aplicador que tenía en casa será la parte superior de la lámpara en el centro le aplicó silicón líquido y le colocó un pequeño círculo de foami gris para adornarla.
He continued applying silicone all around and gluing the square of gray foami, which I close at the end by placing the blue ribbon to decorate, so we have the body of the lamp ready.
Continuó aplicando por todo el alrededor silicón y pegando el cuadrado de foami gris, el cual cierro al finalizar colocando la cinta azul para decorar, así ya tenemos listo el cuerpo de la lámpara.
Now we have all the components of the lamp assembled, we place the cup on the spring, inside the cup I place the LED device and then place the cylinder on the base and we have the lamp ready as you can see.
Ahora ya tenemos todos los componentes de la lámpara armados , pasamos a colocar el vasito en el resorte, dentro del vaso coloco el dispositivo led y coloco después el cilindro sobre la base y tenemos lista la lamparita como podrán ver.
