[ENG/ESP] A well-deserved break from Sunsol to Juan Griego.
Happy start to the week, everyone. I wish you a lovely, relaxing Sunday, full of peace and good energy. Today, as I will be taking a break from work and staying at home, I will take the opportunity to take care of some pending tasks that I have been putting off due to lack of time. Sometimes, these days off are ideal for putting in order what we leave aside during the work week.
Yesterday, however, I did have to work. I had to go to Sunsol Ecoland to do the weekly chlorination, a task that is normally done on Fridays, but this time, for reasons beyond my control, it was postponed until Saturday. So we got organized and left the house not too early, as we knew we would be attended to by the quality staff on duty at the weekend. Whenever we have to go on a Saturday, they welcome us around nine or nine-thirty in the morning, so there was no need to rush.
The sun was relentless from early on. The clear sky and intense heat accompanied us throughout the journey. Despite this, nothing prevented us from reaching our destination in good spirits and high spirits.

Hoy, como estaré descansando del trabajo y me quedaré en casa, aprovecharé para atender algunos pendientes que he ido postergando por falta de tiempo. A veces, estos días de pausa son ideales para poner orden en lo que dejamos de lado durante la semana laboral.
Ayer, sin embargo, sí tuve que trabajar. Me tocó ir a Sunsol Ecoland para realizar el clorado semanal, una tarea que normalmente se hace los viernes, pero que esta vez, por razones ajenas a mí, fue pospuesta para el sábado. Así que nos organizamos y salimos de casa no muy temprano, ya que sabíamos que nos atendería el personal de calidad que está de guardia los fines de semana. Siempre que nos toca ir en sábado, nos reciben alrededor de las nueve o nueve y treinta de la mañana, así que no había prisa excesiva.
El sol estaba implacable desde temprano. El cielo despejado y un calor intenso que nos acompañaron durante todo el trayecto. A pesar de eso, nada nos impidió llegar a nuestro destino con buen ánimo y disposición.
Upon arrival, I was pleasantly surprised that everything went smoothly. Usually, the entry process and passes to access the facility slow down on weekends, but this time was different. Within minutes, we were inside, ready to begin the procedure.
We went straight to the digital scale, checked the parameters, and proceeded to properly chlorinate the main tank. Everything was in order, with the levels adjusted correctly and the records updated. It was a relief that the work went smoothly, because that allowed us to finish ahead of schedule.
Al llegar, me sorprendió gratamente que todo fluyera con rapidez. Generalmente, el mecanismo de entrada y los pases para acceder a la instalación se tornan más lentos los fines de semana, pero esta vez fue diferente. En cuestión de minutos ya estábamos dentro, listos para comenzar con el procedimiento.
Nos dirigimos directamente a la báscula digital, revisamos los parámetros y procedimos a clorar debidamente el tanque principal. Todo quedó en orden, con los niveles ajustados correctamente y los registros actualizados. Fue un alivio que el trabajo se hiciera sin contratiempos, porque eso nos permitió terminar antes de lo previsto.
Since it was still early and we had no obligations, we decided to take advantage of Saturday to do something different. We went for a walk around Juan Griego, a place that always gives me a sense of peace. Enjoying its coastline, walking through its quiet streets, and watching the boats gently rocking on the sea is something that brings me peace. There is a serene beauty in that landscape that invites you to disconnect from stress and reconnect with yourself.
This time of relaxation was very necessary for me. The past week was a bit stormy, full of worries and situations that kept me in constant tension. Therefore, this break was not only well-deserved, but also healing. Being able to breathe fresh air and let the sound of the waves accompany me for a while was very good for me.
Sometimes, it's not about making big plans or traveling far away. It's enough to give yourself a moment of calm, a space to observe, to be grateful, and to simply be. And that's what we did: we gave ourselves permission to enjoy ourselves without rushing, without pressure, with the sole intention of recharging our batteries.
Como aún era temprano y estábamos libres de obligaciones, decidimos aprovechar el sábado para hacer algo diferente. Nos fuimos a dar un recorrido por Juan Griego, un lugar que siempre me transmite paz. Disfrutar de su litoral, caminar por sus calles tranquilas y observar los barcos contoneándose suavemente en el mar es algo que me da paz. Hay una belleza serena en ese paisaje que invita a desconectarse del estrés y reconectar con uno mismo.
Este tiempo de relajación era muy necesario para mí. La semana que pasó fue un poco tempestuosa, llena de preocupaciones y situaciones que me mantuvieron en constante tensión. Por eso, esta pausa no solo fue merecida, sino también sanadora. Poder respirar aire fresco y dejar que el sonido de las olas me acompañe por un rato fue muy bueno para mi.
A veces, no se trata de hacer grandes planes ni de viajar lejos. Basta con regalarse un momento de calma, un espacio para observar, para agradecer y para simplemente estar. Y eso fue lo que hicimos: nos dimos permiso de disfrutar sin apuros, sin presiones, solo con la intención de recargar energías.
