[ENG/ESP] A productive Wednesday with tasks completed.
Dear friends of #wednesdaywalk, today I want to share my day with you, enthusiastically joining @tattoodjay initiative, which every week encourages us to share our walks, tours, and special moments on Wednesdays. I love this dynamic because it allows us to connect, share our experiences, and discover places and experiences that we might not otherwise know about.
My day started quite early, as is usually the case when I have a workday. I got up early, with excellent weather: cool, with a few scattered clouds, but nothing out of the ordinary for this time of year when the rains begin to arrive. I left for work with all my positive energy and the hope that everything would go well.
Queridos amigos de #wednesdaywalk, hoy quiero compartir con ustedes mi recorrido del día, uniéndome con mucho entusiasmo a la iniciativa de @tattoodjay, que cada semana nos motiva a mostrar nuestros paseos, recorridos y momentos especiales de los miércoles. Esta dinámica me encanta porque nos permite conectar, compartir nuestras experiencias y descubrir rincones y vivencias que quizás de otro modo no conoceríamos.
Mi día comenzó bastante temprano, como suele ser habitual cuando tengo jornada laboral. Me levanté temprano, con un clima excelente: fresco, con algunas nubes dispersas, pero nada fuera de lo común para esta época en la que las lluvias comienzan a hacerse presentes. Salí rumbo al trabajo con toda mi energía en positivo y la esperanza de que todo saliera bien.
Today's destination was the Hotel Sunsol Unik, a place we are currently supporting with filter-related work. The maintenance department is very pleasant, and every time we go there, they welcome us with great kindness, which makes the working environment much more enjoyable and everything flows smoothly. The day was quite intense, with many tasks to complete, but fortunately everything went very smoothly, which is something I like. We were able to make significant progress on the work, and now we just need to return tomorrow to finish up some technical details and measure the levels, ensuring that everything is working correctly and meets the required standards.
El destino de hoy fue el Hotel Sunsol Unik, un lugar al que estamos apoyando actualmente con trabajos relacionados con los filtros. El departamento de mantenimiento es muy agradable, y cada vez que vamos nos reciben con mucha amabilidad, lo que hace que el ambiente laboral sea mucho más agradable y todo fluya. El día fue bastante intenso, con muchas tareas por realizar, pero afortunadamente todo fluyó de manera muy positiva y es algo que me gusta. Pudimos avanzar bastante en el trabajo, y ya solo nos queda regresar mañana para concluir algunos detalles técnicos y medir los niveles, asegurándonos de que todo esté funcionando correctamente y cumpla con los estándares requeridos.
At the end of the day, I had to wait for my husband to pick me up. We had to visit some suppliers to check on spare parts that we need to have on hand. We like to be prepared for any eventuality, and having spare parts available gives us peace of mind. I love that my husband accompanies me on these errands because he always adds a special touch to everything: our suppliers know him well and always ask about him. He is very talkative, always making jokes, and that creates a very pleasant atmosphere on every visit.
Al finalizar la jornada, me tocó esperar a que mi esposo pasara por mí. Teníamos pendiente visitar algunos proveedores para revisar piezas de repuesto que necesitamos tener a mano. Nos gusta estar prevenidos ante cualquier eventualidad, y contar con repuestos disponibles nos da tranquilidad. Me encanta que mi esposo me acompañe en estas diligencias, porque siempre le da un toque especial a todo: nuestros proveedores lo conocen bien y siempre preguntan por él. Es muy conversador, siempre está haciendo bromas y eso genera un ambiente muy ameno en cada visita.
Once those tasks were completed, all that remained was to carry out what we had planned to end the day: pick up food for the latest chicks that were recently born. We are very excited about the growth of our poultry farm, as we have gradually established a self-sustaining system at home. When it comes to chicken and eggs, we no longer depend on outside purchases. In fact, we haven't bought eggs in almost three years, which fills us with pride. Another time, I'll show you how our breeding is going and tell you in more detail about our experience venturing into the world of birds. It has been a learning process, but also a very satisfying one.
We went to the farm where we are regular customers, precisely because of the quality of their products and the seriousness with which they work. As we had been informed on Saturday, the special feed for the chicks had already arrived, so we bought it without any problems. With that settled, we returned home with the feeling of having accomplished everything we had planned for the day.
Una vez cumplidas esas tareas, solo quedaba llevar a cabo lo que habíamos planeado para cerrar el día; pasar a buscar el alimento para los últimos polluelos que nacieron recientemente. Estamos muy emocionados con el crecimiento de nuestra cría de aves, ya que poco a poco hemos ido consolidando un sistema autosustentable en casa. En lo que respecta a pollo y huevos, ya no dependemos de compras externas. De hecho, llevamos casi tres años sin comprar huevos, lo cual nos llena de orgullo. En otra ocasión les mostraré cómo va nuestra cría y les contaré con más detalle cómo ha sido nuestra experiencia incursionando en el mundo de las aves. Ha sido un proceso de aprendizaje, pero también de mucha satisfacción.
Fuimos a la agropecuaria donde somos clientes habituales, precisamente por la calidad de sus productos y la seriedad con la que trabajan. Tal como nos habían informado el sábado, ya había llegado el alimento especial para los polluelos, así que lo compramos sin contratiempos. Con eso resuelto, regresamos a casa con la sensación de haber cumplido con todo lo que nos planeamos para el día.
We feel relaxed and ready to rest, because we know that the rest of the week will be demanding and will require a lot of energy and commitment from us.
