[ENG/ESP] A different day, appreciating the sunset in the municipality of Garcia.
It's the weekend, dear friends, and, of course, I wish you a happy and well-deserved rest. Mine is going excellent, although work doesn't stop and there is always something to do.
Today I left home early to go to work. Fortunately, it was not a complicated day, I just had to check that everything was running smoothly. It was a fairly relaxed and fast ride, which I am grateful for because it allowed me to enjoy, without haste, the natural and urban landscapes that relax me so much. Feeling nature, being able to appreciate how the day was coming to life, was a wonderful experience, one of those that nourish the soul.
Ya estamos de fin de semana, queridos amigos, y, por supuesto, les deseo un feliz y merecido descanso. El mío va siendo excelente, aunque el trabajo no se detiene y siempre hay algo que hacer.
Hoy salí de casa bien temprano para ir a trabajar. Afortunadamente, no fue un día complicado, solo tenía que verificar que todo marchara muy bien. Fue un recorrido bastante relajado y rápido, lo cual agradezco porque me permitió disfrutar, sin prisas, de los paisajes naturales y urbanos que tanto me relajan. Sentir la naturaleza, poder apreciar cómo el día iba cobrando vida, fue una experiencia maravillosa, de esas que nutren el alma.
Once I finished with the work tasks and confirmed that everything was in order, I waited patiently for my husband to pick me up, and then we left for home, where our friend and mason was waiting for us. He was coming to help us make some repairs in our home, and, as expected, we had to take care of him and make sure he had everything he needed to do his job comfortably.
On the drive home, I continued to appreciate the scenery and beautiful places the day had to offer. Sometimes I feel that these little pauses to observe the surroundings, however brief, are what really make the difference in a day. It's as if nature is giving me moments of calm.
Una vez terminé con las tareas laborales y confirmé que todo estaba en orden, esperé pacientemente a que mi esposo pasara por mí. Luego, nos marchamos a casa, donde nos esperaba nuestro amigo y albañil. Él venía a ayudarnos a hacer unos arreglos en nuestro hogar, y, como es de esperarse, teníamos que atenderlo y asegurarnos de que tuviera todo lo necesario para realizar su trabajo con comodidad.
Durante el regreso a casa, continué apreciando los paisajes y los lugares hermosos que el día tenía para ofrecernos. A veces siento que estas pequeñas pausas para observar el entorno, aunque sean breves, son las que realmente marcan la diferencia en un día. Es como si la naturaleza me regalara momentos de calma.
After the bricklayer finished his day's work, we decided to take him home. He lives in the municipality of Garcia, an area that is quite distant from our town. I could have stayed at home to rest for a while, but I chose to accompany my husband for two reasons. The first is that I didn't think it was fair for him to make such a long trip alone, and the second, perhaps a bit selfish, is that in Garcia you can see some spectacular sunsets. If I lived closer, I'm sure I would never miss those sunsets; they are so beautiful that they look like something out of a painting, as if the sky were being hand-painted.
Después de que el albañil terminó su jornada de trabajo, decidimos llevarlo a su casa. Vive en el municipio García, una zona que queda bastante distante de nuestra localidad. Podría haberme quedado en casa para descansar un poco, pero opté por acompañar a mi esposo por dos razones. La primera es que no me parecía justo que él hiciera un viaje tan largo solo, y la segunda, tal vez un tanto egoísta, es que en García se pueden ver unas puestas de sol espectaculares. Si viviera más cerca, estoy segura de que nunca me perdería esos atardeceres; son tan hermosos que parecen sacados de un cuadro, como si el cielo estuviera siendo pintado a mano.
Upon arrival, I decided to walk around a bit, looking for the perfect spot to capture the sunset. I wanted to take a photo that I could share with you, something that would convey, even a little bit, of the magic I felt being there. However, I must admit that, in my opinion, nothing compares to seeing it live, with our own eyes. It is something so exciting and special that no camera, no matter how sophisticated, could ever fully replicate.
Al llegar, decidí recorrer un poco la localidad, buscando el lugar perfecto para capturar la puesta de sol. Quería tomar una foto que pudiera compartir con ustedes, algo que transmitiera, aunque fuera un poco, de la magia que yo sentía al estar ahí. Sin embargo, debo admitir que, a mi parecer, nada se compara con verlo en vivo, con nuestros propios ojos. Es algo tan emocionante y especial que ninguna cámara, por sofisticada que sea, podría replicar por completo.
I managed to take a few pictures and was delighted with every one of them. I hope I was able to capture the best of that breathtaking sunset. I promised myself that I will come back, but this time a little earlier, to have more time to explore the area and find different angles from which to enjoy this spectacle that nature offers us. I am almost certain that each visit will be unique and offer something new and different for us to see.
Logré tomar algunas fotografías y quedé encantada con cada una de ellas. Espero haber podido captar lo mejor de esa puesta de sol tan impresionante. Me prometí a mí misma que volveré, pero esta vez un poco más temprano, para tener más tiempo de explorar la zona y encontrar diferentes ángulos desde los cuales disfrutar de este espectáculo que la naturaleza nos ofrece. Estoy casi segura de que cada visita será única y ofrecerá algo nuevo y diferente que podamos ver.
